Blind Date Part 1

 You were pissed at your friends. Your friends set a blind date with one of their friend's friend. You've never been on a blind date before, so you were angry with them because you don't even know the person. You were meeting up at a local cafe that you have been to plenty of times. You didn't know what to wear. You were deciding either to wear jeans and a plaid shirt or a short sleeve shirt with a black skirt. You really did not care what you were going to wear because you thought that the date didn't matter. In the end you decided to wear the short sleeved shirt and the black skirt with flats. (Obviously, who got time for heels). You touch up some of your hair and you barely put on any make up. All of a sudden you hear a ring from your phone. 

"Yeoboseyo?" You said as you held the phone next to your ear.

"Ayeee! You know who it is!" Your best friend, Mina, yelled excitedly.

"Aigoo.. You're going to make me deaf one day." You whined. 

"You need to calm down." Mina yelled again.

"Umm.. I think you're the one who needs to calm down." You replied and smiled to yourself.

Mina laughed at the other end of the line. 

"Aren't you excited?!" Mina exclaimed. 

"Eh... I could really care less." You responded dully. 

"Oh c'mon ______! It's your first blind date! And plus my friend said that your date is hot!" Mina screamed.

"Oh really?" You sarcastically said.

"100%" Mina eagerly replied. 

"I don't even know the guy," You said. 

"Just.. ease up a bit, okay _____?" Mina said calmly. 

"Okay, okay fine. Anyways, I have to go to my date or I'm going to be late." You said as you grabbed your bag.

"Okay! Tell me how it goes!" Mina finished as she hung up the phone. 

Jezz, Mina can be such a pain sometimes you thought. You grabbed your keys, phone, wallet and put them in your bag. You walked out your apartment and shut the door.

Fast forward to when you are arriving at the cafe shop.

You finally arrived at the cafe shop. You obviously didn't know what the guy looked like so you looked around to see any guys by themselves. All you knew was that his name was Mark. You couldn't find any guys around that were sitting by themselves. You went up to the main desk and asked the worker is she had seen any guys named Mark around. She thought for a moment before she said no. You sighed and got a table outside. You waited for a few minutes before a waiter arrived.

"Hello, would you like anything to order?" The waiter said politely.   

"Oh, no thank you. I'm waiting for another person." You responded.

The waiter smiled and nodded and walked away to serve another costumer. You went on your phone and scrolled through your instagram feed. You waited for another 5 minutes. You looked around for any sight of guy. No luck. 

All of a sudden you hear a different voice coming from the inside of the cafe. You looked up and saw this handsome boy. He was coming towards you with flowers. You stood up and greeted him.

"Hi, I'm _______. Are you Mark?" 

"Yeah, I'm Mark." He smiled and gave you the flowers. 

"Oh thank you." You smiled back.

"Please, sit down." You said as you sat back down. 

Mark sat down across from you and looked into your eyes. You couldn't believe that this was your blind date. Mina was right about being hot. Your face was flushed with red as you looked away nervously. 

"So, do you live far away from this cafe?" You ask as you're trying to hide your blush. 

"Um.. no not really. I live relatively close by." Mark responds without hesitation. 

"Oh.. then why were you 5 minutes late?" You ask politely.

"Ohh... I'm sorry about that. I just got off from work and I was running to meet you here" He said kindly.

"Oh.. It's no problem..." You smiled. 

The waiter came back and took your orders.
