I Encounter an Old Enemy

Once we all were loaded into the car. Nico started to discuss what we were up against. Jason and I sat in the front since he was eighteen he was able to drive. I was only 16 so I was stuck not being able to drive.
"Tartarus knows his wife Gaea has failed to bring us to our knees." He began."He wants to try to bring us down. Because he believes that one he has a bigger and stronger army and
two he believes that he has more power. The bad thing is that both are true. So we have to sneak to his place which is at the very end of the Tartarus. We will have to try to sneak through undetected." At that moment the car magically got colder. Every one shivered but me. I had been through the Tartarus only a two times but I still knew the way through it. I had once gotten stuck down there for six months. I had gotten pretty used to it. None of
the monsters had ever bothered me it was probably because of my mother. But I didn't care. Some had even been nice to me. I did have a few enemy's though. Some were pretty dangerous. I looked out the window remembering the time I had got my first enemy the
monster me and Percy had named Kesha. We didn't know her real name is that's what we called her. We did know that she was the most dangerous than any Titan or Giant. And I had a bad feeling I would be meeting her soon enough. Right when that thought ended Jason suddenly stopped the car.
"Jason!"I screamed."What did you do that for!"he pointed forward his face pale."Oh." I said. There sanding in the middle of the street was Kesha. With both of her swords drawn. I looked back. Me and Percy shared the same pained expression."Every one stay here and don't move. I have a monster to take care of." I stepped out of the car I had my dagger drawn and a grenade in hand. I approached the monster.
"Ah, the little princess. So good to see you again." Kesha said with a sneer.
"OMG! Somebody call the fashion police! What is that your wearing? It's hideous! Seriously blue shorts with a red shirt! Come on, we're do you get these clothes, goodwill?" I knew that every one in the car was looking at me funny. But I didn't care, I knew Kesha's
triggers. I also knew I had to keep a straight face for this to work. I stared at her with the look that I usually gave my brothers when they said they didn't do something but really did.
"How dare you these clothes are from the finest store in Tartarus."
"Oh really,they look like they came from the gods dumpster yard. That would also explain your smashed face. Did you get stepped on by one of them."
"Alright little diva that's it!" Kesha did exactly what I expected her to do, she charged at me. All that I had to do was simply step to the side. She skidded into the car. I looked up and saw the surprise on Jason and Percy's face. Leo had slipped into the front seat and was
now yelling.
"Nice job Kitty. You are just like me. You totally like to push people or monsters whatever you want to call her." He let out a laugh. I walked over to Kesha and stabbed with my sword, she disintegrated into gold dust. I went back to the car and sat were Leo had been sitting, between Annabeth and Percy. I was tired for a reason I did not know why. I had barely done anything we'll battling Kesha. I laid down on Percy's lap and closed my eyes. I was still awake though. I loved doing this no one knew this but I would really be awake and would listen to there conversations. Percy was the first one to talk.
"Well someone was tired. I bet it was from staying awake all those nights we were running to camp." He started to run his fingers through my hair. Which I didn't mind because he always did this.
"Your sister is very brave. And where did you all go?" Annabeth asked my brother. He looked around the car Leo and Jason were talking silently and every one else was fast asleep. It was about 9:30 at night so I couldn't blame them.
"Well," he started silently."Chiron wanted us to run a mission for him, but it kind've backfired on us. We completed the mission but got attacked in the process.
"Oh, well I am sure you did well."
"Yeah, I guess."
"What's wrong?"
"It's just her," he pointed to me, "She was scared that we would get hurt so she stayed up every night we were on the run."I couldn't see the sad expression on his face but I knew it
was there."I know she's going through something hard right now. I just know it. Last night I heard her and Apollo taking about some kind of big mission that she needed to complete, and if she didn't that someone would die.The truth is Annabeth I am scared. I don't want her to die or anyone else she is my only sister out of all my siblings. I bet sometimes she feels alone." He took a deep sigh then told Annabeth that he was going to sleep. Annabeth said
that she would sleep too. I was not so pumped to be going to sleep. Because when your a half blood all you get is nightmares, terrible nightmares.But my body over took my mind and I feel asleep.
I dreamed I was in Tartarus's place. I had to remind myself that it was only a dream. The place was pitch black and the walls had paintings of the gods with rip marks and claw marks in them. I saw a picture of my dad,Poseidon,he would have looked handsome if he
didn't have a huge knife in his mouth. The floor was made of pure bone and there was a chandelier that was made of the same substance. Bones. I wanted to walk right up to that chandelier and knock it down I knew that those bones were all from fallen demigods. Then
a large dark figure walked in to the room. Followed by three smaller figures. At least compared to him they were small ,but probably compared to me they would be pretty large.
"The boy knows our plan my lord. What shall we do?" Said the first figure. He had a very squeaky voice for a big guy.
"And there are seven demigods coming to destroy your plan."said the second one. They were all still in the shadows so I couldn't make out who they were."
Then the third voice spoke up, "I could have squash those kids except for the fact that Percy Jackson's sister was there to protect them. I wish she would just die. When Gaea knocked her out Apollo helped her out and gave her enough strength to kill Gaea!" The
voice was defiantly female. Then it hit me ,Kesha! I couldn't believe it. But then again I had killed her so yeah I could believe it. But still. I wanted to punch her in the face. That's when Tartarus spoke up.
"Hush! You are talking like children fighting over a simple toy!" He yelled.
"I can start a fight over who gets to kill Natasha!" Kesha yelled. I shuddered at the mention of my name.
"That's not the point." Said Tartarus slamming his fist on the throne. After that it had a big old crack in it. "Now go and capture that boy. Jason I believe that was his name was I need for my final plan and bring him back here to North Dakota." I gasped which was my first mistake. Even when your in a dream Tartarus can find you. "Leave my presence young one. You have seen plenty of me for one nightmare." With that I jolted awake. Every one but Jason was asleep.
"Hey girly, sleep well?" He asked. I knew he knew the answer was no but I still responded.
"It was terrible. I dreamed about Tartarus and Kesha." I started crying. Which woke up Percy. He rubbed the sleep out of eyes and started to listen."He sent out Kasha to kidnap
you. An..an...and I can't lose you Jason! I can't." Percy rubbed my back to comfort me. But it didn't really help.
"Hey it's okay. I promise I can watch over myself and plus I have your big brother. Nat look at me if I do get caught promise me you'll protect yourself for me ok."
"Alright Jason. I also promise that I will come after you and I will get you. I promise. I swear on the river of Sphinx. I swear on Ra's sun boat(which was a big thing for Egyptians). I swear I am not going to let my boyfriend perish!"
"That's a big promise, sis." Said Percy."Are you sure you want to make that promise? I mean what if you know...."
"No! I don't do what ifs. I do what is needed to be done. I will not think of things like that. Never. So just don't ok." I knew I had to keep focus. Even though I could die and never rescue Jason. But I pushed that thought aside.
"Ok." Jason smiled at me.
"Jason do you want to switch off driving?" Percy asked.
"Sure. I am so tired of looking at that road." Jason said. Jason pulled over and got out.
"So are were driving to Tartarus or what?" Asked Percy.
"I don't know, but Nico put in a certain route in the GPS and I have just been flowing with that. I have no idea were we're going." Said Jason.
"I do." I spoke up. I had no idea were that idea came from but it just felt right." I don't know were it came from but I am pretty sure we are headed for North Dakota. I think for the two minutes I was asleep...."
"It was more like two hours"Percy said.
"Ok whatever! Anyway I think Tartarus said something about North Dakota." I wasn't sure and I was pretty sure he said something about that.
"Okay then ND it is."
"What?" I asked. Percy rolled his eyes.
"North Dakota. Duh."
"Oh, well maybe you should stop making up stupid names for each state that we go to."
"We have never been to North Dakota"
"Or going to! Whatever you want!"
Jason looked at me and shrugged. I rested my hand on his. "So what now?" he asked. 
"I am not sure but for one thing I am keeping an eye on you." We both let out a slight giggle. That's when Leo woke up. I caught my breath he turned to Percy. His eyes were still closed though.
"Hey, Jason when we get there.. Well were ever were going I can take a pretty picture for Nat's Christmas card of you and her for you. I am sure she'd like it." Leo was obviously tired because he hadn't noticed yet that he was really talking to Percy. 
"Hey dude." Jason said to Leo, "you might want to rube that sleep out of your eyes because that's not me your talking to over there." Leo rubbed the sleep out of his eyes, and opened them. He sat up and looked at Percy.
"Whoa! Dude when did you to switch out spots. Then he looked behind him and saw me and Jason. Annabeth was still asleep but I felt that she would wake up soon. Piper, and Nico were all squished in the back. Nico was still up but he was extremely quiet. He hadn't said a word the whole drive except when he was explaining the plan. The poor guy was pale white and extremely skinny. Hazel was his sister that he had pulled out of the under world and gave her a second chance on life. Hazel, Piper, Annabeth, and I were the best of friends. We loved hanging out with each other. Piper, Leo, and I were like siblings and would hang out a lot. I used to be really jealous with Piper but when she found out why I
was she helped me out. Jason now spent all his free time with me. We would talk and sword fight with each other. I loved hanging out with him. But I also spent some free time
with my brothers. I couldn't wait to get into action. I had so many training classes I had barely any free time. I pulled out my schedule to look at it. 

7:30 am- get ready- 8:00am
8:15am- Karate lessons- 10:30am
10:39am- gymnastics- 1:50pm
1:56pm- archery- 2:00pm
2:20pm- regular camp-half blood lessons- 8:30pm
10:25pm- night ninja classes-1:12am

I loved my schedule. All my siblings had the same schedule same with Jason. Who was now peeking over my shoulder to look at what I was looking at. 
"You miss home don't you?" He asked.
"What? No, I was just..just..you know looking to see what I would have now if were at camp. You know. What I always do."
"You mean what you always do when your either nerves or miss home. Or both. So tell me the truth witch one is it now?" 
"Both" I said quickly. 
"Hey there is nothing to be afraid of cuz." Said Nico. I wanted to reach back and give him sisterly kiss on the check but I couldn't reach him. Instead I said a simple THANK YOU. Then I noticed something.
"That's odd." I said.
What is it?" Jason said.
"We have made it for like an hour with only getting attacked once. Don't you think that's strange?"
"Well a little." Jason looked out the window. I assumed he was tired and didn't really want to talk. 
"Why don't you rest now. You have be up a while. Ok."
"Thanks." With that he put his head on the window and went to sleep. That's when every thing went wrong. A thing like a flying saucer fly over the car and rip the top off.
"Ah come on this was dad's new car!"Percy complained. 
Percy had stopped the car and now held riptide in his hand still in pen
form. 
"Well we know that one when we get home dads going to kill us and two there is probably a monster out there that is going to try to kill us!" Percy yelled.
"Don't worry we can handle a monster and get dad a new ride in a couple minuets. Right? I think we should all get out of the car as quick as possible and make a run for that field." I
explained to them. 
"Ill take Nico he is up but he will have a limp. All of you try to make it to the end of the field. Then Leo call in the Argo II. Alright. Annabeth make sure every one gets on board. Alright. Ready set go!"
"Alright you heard what I said let's go" I got Nico out of the back seat and stared to run. Jason helped me out. With  Leo, Annabeth,and Percy right behind us. We ran and ran. Leo
stared to type in the location of where we were for Festus. Festus was Leo's metal dragon that had blow up. He was able to restore the head though. Once Leo was done he pulled his head up. 
"Alright Festus should be hear in two minuets!" he yelled to us. Then went back to focusing on his phone. We all knew that he worked better with machinery than people so we couldn't blame him.   Were almost there!" I yelled." Leo is he here......"I didn't get to finish my sentence my voice was drained out by the noise of the ship. I looked up and smiled. 

A rope ladder came tumbling down. Jason flew Nico up. Then Percy, Annabeth, and Leo climbed up the ladder. Jason came back down and grabbed my waist. I loved flying with
him it was one of my favorite things ever. Once we landed on the deck I went over to Nico he looked pale and fragile. He looked as if he would break if I touched him. By the time Jason and I scooped him up Percy and Annabeth were helping up Leo onto the deck. They started to real up the rope ladder. And we went below deck. Almost every one was sharing rooms. Jason and Percy were together, Leo got his own room, me and Annabeth were together Piper also got her own and.... Then the though came to me. Where was Piper? I gave Nico to Jason and ran above deck. 
"Guys, where's Piper!" Every one started looking around.
"We must have left her in the car."said Leo."she is a heavy sleeper." Leo threw down the ladder and typed something into Fesuts. 
"What are you doing?"Percy, Annabeth, and I all asked at once.
"Getting Piper"he said. With that he climbed down into the smoke and he was gone. Again everything went wrong. We heard a scream and the smoke cleared. Leo was standing there
with a look of horror on his face. I started to climb down but then Percy grabbed my arm. 
"It could be a trick," he said."and I am not loosing you to. No way." With that he yelled down" Yeah, Leo get up here dude." That snapped Leo out of his shock. He turned and with the speed of lightning he climbed the ladder and pulled it up. 
"The monster has them!"Leo said. 
"Who? What monster?"asked Percy.
"I don't know."he replied."all I know is I need to rest to night." With that he walked down the steps shaking. Muttering something about foxes and weasels. 
Jason walked up.
"All right what's up with him. And where are the others?" We all looked at each other.
"There gone. It's just You, me, Percy, Annabeth, Leo,vand Nico.  
"Ok, well I guess you heard the kidnapping wrong. It wasn't me." Jason said. He gave me a hug and kissed my forehead.
"We are still not let our guard down. Alright. He might be wanting to pick us off one by one. So keep your guard up." I said.
"Hey you and Jason go ahead and relax down below. Annabeth and I will stay up here and take first watch. And help out Leo and Nico. Ok." Percy singled us to go below. I nodded and took Jason's hand.  We then went below.
