"Wh-" I started to question what was going on but he must have planned ahead and prepared what he would say.

"This..." Bennett paused, "It's where my squirrels and I plan. It's like a lair for an evil scientist guy who just has squirrels do things for him. Except, you know, I'm not the evil one in this battle. But it-"

It was my turn to cut him off, "Wait... You're not the evil one in this battle? What does that mean?"

"Oh, I wasn't gonna tell you about that. So, moving on!..." He's really just gonna drop the topic like that?!

"Hold on! You have to tell me now, you can't just mention it and move on." Seriously, is he stupid? He can't just say he isn't telling me about it.

"Yeah, I totally can, by the way have you seen Beau?" Trying to change the subject, I see. But who's Beau anyway?

"Uh, who? Is he the evil one?"

"NO, I told you we're moving on from that subject. Just... Help me find him, that is the only help you can be at the moment. Can you hear the wall talking? Maybe Beau's having a conversation with the wall. You should go look." Bennett went back somewhere and probably started talking to some squirrels. I'm gonna find out who this evil guy is somehow. There's a big chance that Beau will know, so it will probably benefit me if I find him.

Bennett said he's probably in room next door, and Beau is probably the only other human here... So I guess this tree is like a tree house. Somehow it's in the mall... how did they manage to do this? It is probably better just to disregard logic with Bennett...

I walked over to the room, where there is a supposed wall conversation, and slowly opened the door. When I looked in, there was that boy from earlier at the school sitting there in the dark. He was actually talking to the wall, or at least to himself.

"Are you just going to stand there?" Him speaking so suddenly and somehow knowing I was there frightened me, but I went over to him anyway.

"Uh, hi, would you happen to be Beau?" I questioned him.

"Who else would I be?" He answered quickly. I studied him quickly too, he had blue eyes, just like Bennett, but his hair was a much darker blonde and emo looking. They looked similar, but not too much.

"I guess you're right, but Bennett would like to see you now, I think." I went over to where he was seated and offered a hand to help him up. He just sighed and ignored it.

He left the room before me, I tried to follow near behind him though.

"Hey! Hold on, I need to ask you about something." I attempted to stopped him.

He did stop, "What is it?"

"Bennett mentioned something to me earlier about some evil guy... I was wondering if you knew anything."

"Yeah of course I do, but it's not my job to tell you. He'll tell you when he's ready." Beau said as he started walking again. Ugh, is it that hard to just tell me?

As we got back to the main room, Bennett was working on some kind of squirrel formation?

"I found him, and the wall wasn't talking, it was him." I thought maybe that answer would make him happy.

"Obviously. Walls don't talk, are you stupid?" Bennett said sounding upset again. His attitude and views change so much. He was so serious about the wall talking earlier...

Beau rolled his eyes as we had this conversation, "Okay, whatever, what do you need from me?"

"Nothing. Just wondering where you were." Bennett answered simply.

"Next time you need this girl away from you, don't involve me in your plan. I don't even understand why you brought her here in the first place." Beau complained as he walked away. Well someone's emotional.

Bennett sighed as I stood there awkwardly... "Does it matter to you that much if I tell you about it? I'm only trying to protect you."

I nodded instead of speaking, since I was watching some squirrels over near a box thing. One of the little creatures turned something and Shakira suddenly started blaring throughout the room. Bennett looked surprised at first but started bellydancing along to the beat.

Is he serious? He's trying to keep from telling me again obviously. I sat on the floor and put my head on my knees, waiting for the song to end.
