"Well I guess I'm okay with not seeing that." Bennett said then paused a moment, "Wait, no, I do wanna see him so I can end this!" He tried turning the chair, but obviously that did nothing because it was attached to the ground.

The man laughed loudly, "You couldn't do anything if you tried." He also paused. Geez, lots of people are pausing their sentences today... It's fairly annoying. "I guess I'll finish you last since I have these two standing here. You can watch them suffer."

"Okay, lets pause again, cause I have a question. I've been wondering this for a while now... What's your name?" I had to ask. I mean, no one else would tell me. Bennett and Beau looked at me and had expressions on their face that said "you're a total idiot". I just shrugged, since knowing was important to me.

The man also looked at me weirdly, "It's Mr. Miller. Is that all? If so, then I'll start with the other boy now." He laughed again. Do evil people really have to laugh all the time?

'Mr. Miller' started walking closer to Beau. I was practically freaking out now so I gripped the knife behind me tighter. Bennett was once again trying to escape the chair by shaking it, but it still had no success. He stopped for a second and looked at me with sad eyes. I've gotta help them somehow...

Beau was backing away and was closing in on the wall. Bennett looked like he was gonna started screaming. So I just did what a had to do. I grabbed a second knife and ran behind the man. I went for a spot that would bring him down. The back of his knees is where I sunk the sharp blades into. He let out a scream of excruciating pain.

I hope no one in the mall could hear this, that'd be bad. I am pretty sure they can't though.

"The... Office. The keys... for the boy are in the office..." Mr. Miller got out through heavy sighs. I nodded my head and went through the door he came in. I walked into a room filled with squirrels in horrifying states. I tried ignoring them and found keys on a desk. I sat in a chair for a moment and brought my knees up to my face. I started tearing up and feeling terrible. There's no way I'll be able to forget what I just did. For two stupid boys, who I barely know. Looking for that book this morning wasn't worth it. I didn't need it this bad.

Footsteps could be heard coming into the room now, and I didn't wanna look up.

I felt a hand on my shoulder, "Hey, we can get out of here now. Or once we unlock him, so give me the keys." It was Beau's voice so I put the keys on the table and put my feet back on the ground. I was going to stand up but Beau held me down.

He sighed once more, "Just stay there. I know you probably don't feel well. It's okay, I'll get him for you." He smiled a little as he made the last little joke. I pushed his hand away and made him walk away. Ha, he's soo funny.

I waited in the office a little longer until I got tired of seeing the squirrel torture. I grabbed a box and began putting every squirrel in it. Once I was finished, I closed the box so they wouldn't see. Even though Beau was already here. He probably wont notice.

Bennett and Beau walked in just as I was closing the box. They looked as though they wanted to question it, but they thankfully didn't.

"There's an exit back here so we can leave through there." Beau pointed to a door in the far back of the office. Bennett hasn't said a word since before the attack. Oh well.

I picked up my box and began walking to the back, the two boys followed close behind. Beau stepped forward and opened the door and the light shined in brightly. I took in the light happily because of the horrible darkness in the room.

When I stepped out into the bright sunlight from the darkness of the office room, I felt something fall on my back. I turned my head a little to see that it was the Squirrel King himself.

"Sorry, I fell, haha, but I don't think you'll mind if I lean my arm here for a bit. My toes really hurt, you know." He smiled a tiny bit as we all walked off.

A while later, we arrived at my house and they dropped me off.

Bennett waved at me, "See you at school tomorrow!" I waved back then went into my house. Yeah, as if I'd be going anywhere tomorrow. Not leaving home for a while.
