Wren walked in front of me as we made our way to the others. I stopped next to the water. Its pull was stronger than it had been nine years ago. I didn't touch it though.

"Don't tell me your afraid again." Azi said coming next to me.

I rolled my eyes. "I'm not afraid." I said. "I'm just...cautious."

Azi looked over my face. "I'm sorry, Naila. I knew how dangerous it was."

"Stop it." I said looking at him. "We already went through this. I'm not angry. I love my abilities. I'm afraid that they'll find us here."

Azi nodded. "It is a place they'll consider."

"We need to find a safe place where we can stay for an extended period of time. And we need food and money, and new clothes."

Azi nodded. "We'll have to break into some houses."

"So?"

"Imogen won't like that."

"Imogen won't have to know."

Azi looked at me. "How so?"

"We go after she falls asleep. We tell Wren and Lyric so that if she wakes, she'll know where we went."

Azi thought for a moment. "Okay," He said after a while.

"Alright then," I said. "We'll leave later tonight."

Wren ran his thumb over the back of my hand. He was trying to make being here better. And he was worried about Azi and me leaving to get supplies.

"Do you have to do this?" Wren asked quietly.

"Do you want to starve or not?"

Wren sighed. "Be careful." His voice was even quieter.

"I will."

I stood up and went over to Azi, who was standing by the fire. "You ready?" I asked.

"Yea." Azi answered. "You?"

"Yea."
