(Still flashback)
The morning sun shined on you, telling to wake up. You stretched your arms. Sabo was still asleep, his arms sprawled out in an awkward position, tangled up in pillow fluff. As you got out of bed, Sabo stirred.
"(Name)?"
"Sorry... did I wake you up?"
"No, it's about time to get up anyways," the boy rubbed his eyes, "Let me help you make breakfast."
*After breakfast, in the city"
"So we have to get 9 pillows and 21 plates," you declared.
"Also some more food, if I were to stay longer!" Sabo added on. "Maybe we should have got a wagon or something to carry all the pillows."
"Good idea!"
After acquiring a wagon, the two of you busily went around looking for the items. People would look at you weird because of the pile of pillows pulled behind you. As you walked around the town, the two would window-shop, especially at places with food, weapons, or food. You would try out every single samples that restaurants or markets would offer, until you would get kicked when Sabo tries to take seconds.
"Hey, isn't it a good thing that I would seconds?"
You shook your head, sighing. "By that time, they'd expect you to buy their food!"
"That's too bad..."
"Nee~ What time is it?" The streets started to get crowded as people went out for lunch. You could smell the aroma of soup noodles from ramen shops and the saltiness of ham sandwiches as your stomach grumbled.
"It's 11:30," Sabo looked then paused, "Wait... 11:30... Crap! I forgot about the meeting my parents make me go to! If I don't go, then I'll never be able to go out again! Sorry, (Name), but I have to go!"
Sabo dashed off, clutching his top hat. "Okay... It's not like him to forget about this kind of stuff. Plus, he never really cared about listening to his parents in the first place. What's up with him now?"

It was the next day, and, as usual, you stood under shade of the giant oak, waiting for Sabo. Even though, your family aren't going to come back until a week later, you had cleaned up the entire mansion yesterday afternoon and had restocked all the plates and pillow you had broke. After standing under the deciduous tree for twenty minutes, you wondered why Sabo hasn't come. "He's not this late... Did something happen to him?"
You headed towards where Sabo lived. Once you got there, you tiptoed to look into Sabo's room's window. "Looks he's not there..."
"Do you need something, little lady?"
You turned around to see an older woman, carrying a basket full of groceries, walking towards Sabo's house. "I'm looking for someone."
"If you're looking for Master Outlook, he and the mistress aren't here."
"How about Sabo-kun?"
"The young master?" the woman crossed her arms, "He left yesterday after a big fight with Master Outlook. Something about different opinions. I don't think he'll coming back."
"Thank you!" You rushed off. "Probably had argued about something that has to do with being a noble. Where could he be?"
The marketplace, the forest, the oak tree, your house (just in case he went to find you). He's was nowhere to be find. Your heart sunk."Sabo... what am I going to do now?"

It's been several weeks since Sabo had left. Days got more and more depressing. You continued to search for Sabo everyday, always waiting at the oak tree first thing. It was when you were walking past Gray Terminal when you had saw him. Actually, at first, you didn't recognize him. You had only followed a suspicious character who was really tall with a gray cloak, and dragged a dead crocodile behind him.
"This for trading," the person had said before exiting the checking gate at Gray Terminal. Your head tilted with curiosity and you decided to follow the mysterious stranger. You kept following, seeing after the man had traded the reptile, he had headed for a ramen noodle shop. You tried to follow him in, but was stopped.
"Little girl, if you want to go have noodles, why don't you ask your mom to take you here?" a waitress asked kindly, but firmly.
"B-but..." you sighed. Looks like she's not going to let you in. "Okay..."
You patiently waited outside for the stranger to come out. After waiting for about half an hour, you heard a sudden CRASH! and pieces of glass rained down from above. You looked up.
"Eeeehhh???"
"Wow! That was really the best ramen!" Sabo remarked.
"See, I told you so!" the other falling boy said.
Your eyes widened with surprise. "That was Sabo! I guess he's doing fine."
"It's them again! Stop those kids!" You watched as the police fruitlessly chased after the boys.
"They didn't pay... and we to fix a broken window, too!"
"Of course, leave to him to dine and dash... Looks like he didn't get that good of influences." Feeling bad, you paid for all the damages and food.

For the longest of time, whenever you could, you would follow Sabo and the two other boys. You soon to come to know Luffy, the youngest of the three boys. However, you could never figure out the other boy. Whenever, they did say his name, you would be distracted. (A/N: the reason why you never knew that Ace was Sabo's other brother)
The most amusing parts of you watching them was whenever they would fight about the littlest things.
"How about we fry it?" Luffy asked, drooling.
"Who's ever heard of fried bear? I say we grill it!" declared the other boy (whose name you didn't know).
Sabo butted in, "We can do both actually..."
"Fry it!"
"Grill!"
"Fry!"
"Grill!"
"FRY!"
"GRILL!"
"PIPE DOWN!!!!!" Sabo separated the two ravenettes, "Like I said, we can. Do. Both."
"B-but, but," Luffy sputtered. Sabo took Luffy aside to explain to him. You giggled.
Ace's POV
He spun around toward the sudden giggling. "Nothing? I swore that there was giggling... Hey, Sabo!"
"Huh?"
"Did you hear that?"
"Hear what?"
"Oh, nevermind..."
"Nee, could Ace be hearing things now?" Luffy smirked.
"Shut up!"
Your POV
You had clapped you mouth when the boy had turned around. When he dismissed your giggling, you sighed mentally. "Phew... so close. Maybe if they did find me out then I could join them, too!" You shook your head. "No... I don't think I'm ready yet..." When you had looked back, the boys were already gone, chattering happily and eager to eat their meal. "I do hope that I could talk to Sabo soon though."
