(Still in flashback)
"Where's Sabo?" Once again, you went to the boys' tree house. It has been a few days since you had last seen them, thanks to your bossy aunt, who decided to "care" about you and took you out shopping and gave you lessons about being a lady. You cared little for your aunt's taste in fashion, much less a noble's wardrobe choice. What's the point of knowing when she refused to let you go to any party? Also, in regards to the lessons, you already knew how to sew all kinds of stitches, from the chain stitch to the French knots, without her
You looked around the area of the tree house. The only ones here were Luffy and the other boy. They kept doing their daily activities as if Sabo wasn't there before.
"Nee~, did you think Sabo is alright?" Luffy asked in the middle of training.
"If that was his choice to go back, then he would happy, okay? Now stop asking me questions!" Ace replied.
"He went back?" You quickly scrambled towards your house. Leaves rustled and grass crunched as you hurriedly left.
Ace's POV
The boy flinched and spun around.
"What's the problem?" Luffy asked, tiptoeing to glance at what Ace was looking at.
"I swear, there really was someone!"
Your POV
You sprinted. The thought of Sabo being back screamed in your head. How could he had left me? He didn't even explain! You stopped. Leaning in front of the oak tree was Sabo, looking at the now longer chain of fabric.
"Sabo!" you shouted.
Startled, Sabo looked up. "Hey, (Name)." He smiled sadly.
You ran to him, your anger now dissipated at the sight of doleful grin. "Sabo..."
He looked at the chain. "I'm sorry... I didn't mean to leave you like this." He gestured to the daily notes you had wrote since he left. "I'm sorry for being so selfish. I-"
"Shut up!"
Sabo gulped.
You took a deep breath. "You don't need to be sorry. I knew that you didn't like this lifestyle. I know of another way for you to leave..." After telling him your idea, Sabo widened his eyes.
"Are you fine with me doing it?"
You nodded your head. "Once you set out, I'll catch up with you later on."
"Why don't you come with me?"
"I, I don't feel ready yet..."
Sabo took your hand. "Then we'll meet again in the near future, right? I'll leave next few days, then.

"Ehhhhh? The Celestial Dragons are coming today!?" You stared at the newspaper.
"Yes, (Name). Now a lady shouldn't screech like that- (NAME)!! Where are you going?" your aunt stood up.
Paying no attention, you ran to the harbor. Crowds were already there, waiting to welcome the World Nobles. "Sabo! Sabo!" you shouted. You looked around and saw a figure in the sea. There stood alone fishing ship with a small person steering. Looking closer, you came to realize that the person wore a top hat with goggles. A pirate flag with the letter "S" waved saying good-bye. "So he decided to leave today... I definitely will meet up with him one day!"
Your thoughts were interrupted by an explosion. Your eyes widened with anger as you saw fire and smoke erupted from the broken ship. The cruel Celestial Dragon fired a second time, completely sinking the small vessel.
You screamed, "NOOOOOOOOO!!!!"

*Flashback ends; Back to present to when you taking care of Sabo"
"(Name)?"
"Yes?" Koala and you were still tending to Sabo. It has been three days since he had passed out. You wore heavy bags under your eyes. Koala had insisted that she could take over but you stubbornly refused. The fever fluctuated but never went away. Thankfully, the fever had dropped to an acceptable point.
"Can you go get some more cold water?" Koala asked.
"Yeah, sure." You took the basin and headed to the sink next door. Hack greeted you at the door.
"(Name)-san, you should get some rest. You don't look so well."
"Thank you for your concern, Hack-san."
When you had filled up the basin, you headed back to the infirmary and heard Koala sobbing. You peered through the slightly opened door.
"He's awake!"
"Really? Thank goodness!"
"WAH!!! I thought you were dying... Sabo... GUH!" Koala cried.
"You really had a bad fever, Sabo... We were getting worried since you slept for 3 days straight..." Hack added.
"Really..." Sabo murmured, "Now I'm remember everything..."
"Everything?" Koala echoed.
Your ears perked. "Sabo got his memory back?"
Sabo went on to tell his story with Ace and Luffy. Throughout the whole recollection, not a word was mentioned about you. "Guess he didn't remember exactly everything..." You smiled sadly, closing the door behind you.
Sabo's POV
After briefing his time with Ace and Luffy, Sabo looked around. "Wasn't (Name) here?"
"No, I saw (Name)-san left before you had woke up," Hack replied.
Sabo hung his head in disappointment. "I see..."

Your POV
It's been several days since Sabo has woke up. You never went to see him since then because every time you thought of him, there's always a tight feeling in your chest. Sabo wasn't allow to go anywhere as the infirmary's doctor checked up on him. It was a week later when Sabo was able to leave. By that time, you were plummeted with piles of paperwork, so you never knew he had left.
After a few days, discouraged and beaten by work, you went to Dragon to ask for a break.
"Since things had died down for a bit, may I take a long extended vacation, Dragon-san?"
Dragon looked up. "How long would you be gone?"
You shrugged. "Probably a few weeks..."
Dragon opened his mouth to protest to such a long break, but stopped after seeing the melancholy look on your face. "Of course, just give a call to when you will be back."
"Thank you, Dragon-san." You went back to your room to pack up for basic travelling.
Sabo's POV
"Thank you, doctor."
"Sabo-kun, if you ever get any other stresses, please come talk to me."
"I will." The blonde picked up his hat and coat, gave a nod, and left. As soon as he got exited the infirmary he dashed frantically in search of something. Or, rather, someone.
Koala watched as the blonde man whizzed by in a hurry. "Sabo-kun! Is something wrong?!" she shouted.
Sabo, not hearing the question, continues to sprint towards (Name)'s room. "I have to find her! (Name) was the first person who I remembered! All this time, she waited for me. Now I need to let her know!"
