And we had breakfast in bed

Luke yawned as his eyes fluttered open, the soft rays of sunlight streaming through the open window, a warm breeze floating through the frame. Shuffling could be heard outside of the room as Luke sat up on the bed, crossing his legs as he rubbed at his sleep filled eyes. Michael walked into the room seconds later, carrying a silver tray in his hand. The blue haired boy walked to the bed, smiling softly at Luke as he placed the tray on the bedside table then crawled onto the bed. Michael sat with his back slightly against the bedside table, sliding his legs under Luke's and the blanket. The blonde slid his legs from under the blanket, pulling them up slightly over Michaels.

The blue haired boy grabbed the tray and placed it on his lap, handing Luke a cup of his favorite tea and a croissant.

"We should go to the lake
today. It's really warm outside"
Michael suggested, picking a piece
off of his croissant. Luke looked down insecurely, swishing around the liquid in his cup.

"Um I-I didn't b-bring a suit"
Luke stuttered nervously. Michael- being the incredibly observing boyfriend he is- noticed the fear in the boys voice.

"If you don't want
to we don't have to, babe"
Michael assured, placing his hands on Luke's knee, rubbing his thumb in soothing circles. Luke looked up at Michael and bit his bottom lip.

"My bruises"
Luke whispered, looking down again. Michael made a face of realization. He slid his hand up Luke's thigh and over his small stomach, traveling over his neck until settling on his cheek.

"If you're insecure about me seeing your body you don't have to be. I've seen your scars and bruises before. I think you're beautiful no matter what, sweetheart"
Michael pointed out, his mind flickering back to the first day Luke started living with him. Luke played with his fingers. Michael stroked Luke's cheekbone with his thumb, giving the blonde a soft smile.

"We can go exploring. My friend
told me that there was this really pretty bridge a few miles away from here"
Michael suggested, kissing Luke's cheek lightly before going back to eating. Luke looked over at Michael with furrowed eyebrows.

"You're not mad about the lake?"
Luke asked. Michael looked up with furrowed eyebrows.

"Why would I be mad?"
He asked. Luke shrugged.

"Calum usually just persuades me into thing I don't really wanna do. He says if I don't try I'll never do anything fun"
Luke explains. Don't get Luke wrong, he absolutely loves Calum, his life would be incomplete without the brown eyed boy, but he can be a bit pushy.

"Well I think you need a hand to hold not a push. If going to the bridge would make you feel more comfortable than going swimming, that's what we'll do"
Michael said with a small shrug. Luke smile bright, placing his tea and half eaten croissant on the nightstand, making Michael do that same. Michael was confused for a second before Luke was straddling his waist and pressed true lips together.

"I. Love. You. So. Much"
Luke said in between short little kisses.
He placed one long passionate kiss on Michaels lips before pulling away. Michael smile up at him, rubbing his exposed thighs up and down.

"I love you too sweetheart.
Go get dressed and well head out"
Michael suggested. Luke nodded his head, planting one more kiss to Michaels lips before getting up from the boys lap. Michael smiled as he watched the blonde gather clothes from the suitcase before disappearing into the bathroom.

Michael fell so hard for this boy.
