“I never expected this could happen.”

I was telling my friends what had happened. I was sobbing so hard.

My friends gathered around and consoled me.

“Tell us the whole story, then.” said Irina, “You got to tell us everything.”

“I don’t know how to begin.” I began to snivel again “it’s just that it’s so unfair.”

“Then what did he do to you?” asked Muriel.

I found it hard to start speaking.

“Well, yesterday, I told him that I shall stop texting him so as to give him space when he told me he doesn’t love me anymore.” I sniveled even harder, “then he told me to find someone else and that they’re my fault for the reason that he has low marks. And –” I paused and fought for reality, “he said he still loved Bellatrix Serratos!”

Everyone looked so scandalized and kicked in the teeth.

            “What?” Muriel was so outraged.

“Didn’t he just use you to cover up his pain?” asked Rosie angrily.

“He – ” I sobbed “ –he said he loved me to the fullest, but –but, he realized the feeling that it was already too late. His… his feelings betrayed me!”

Irina stood up and told me, “Well, it just went to show that he used you somehow.”

At this realization, I was so indignant. Never have a guy used me. I was so sad and upset.

“How could he do such a thing to me?” she asked, “why? I just had a month recovering from Draco and now, he’s gone again?”

“It’s his loss, Katherine.” said Claire.

            Irina nodded. “She’s right.”

Drayzereth agreed then said, “You know what Kath? You should come to know that after every break-up, that only means there is more to life. You deserve someone better.”

            Her friends smiled.

“You are a very brilliant lady, Katherine and never let Alistair obliterate you.” Added Daemon.

            I stopped crying.

Benjamin patted me, “Stay stronger, girl.”

            “Yeah,” added Patrick.

            I was lightened up.

“He deserves to get dribbled.” Said Lucy.

Then I said, “I’m meeting him later, Lu.”

Rosie stood, “Oh great! Where are you going to meet?”

            “Louisville Square.” I replied.

“Oh! Can’t you tell him to come here in St. Germaine’s?” she nitpicked.

“No. I don’t want him to. Then, what should I do?”

Then Stephanie and Felice spoke, “We’re coming with you.”
