After a few more hours, we finally got out of the small room.
Our new friend, Angie, was pretty cool. She was awfully shy, but tried to keep the conversation going. It turned out that she was around our age, and ended up in our college, studying writing and animation. But what was she doing working today?
It turned out that the place I was staying in was a psychiatric center. I was told to have come again, but I really did not want to. Gerard said that he'll make me get the help I need, but I was actually okay. I mean, the nightmare does go thru my mind once in a while, but it is not frequent.
As we step inside his car, he drives me to the college and then, he walks me to my dorm. It was a quiet ride, though, it was relaxing. As we stood in front of my dorm, he looked around for a clock.
5:00 p.m.
He smiled at me as I looked up at him while I dug in my pocket for my key. I lightly blushed, looking away as I finally found the key to the dorm. I unlocked the room and then saw that it was the same as in the morning. The bed was slightly undone, my pillows on the floor. My adoring Levi plushie still in its original place in my bed, the TV remote and controllers from when I played a little last night were, as well, in their corresponding spot from where I left them yesterday.
I walked in then saw faint ghost, the nurses sorrounding me, Gerard holding my shoulders and my slouched, curled up body covering my ears. I took a deep breath and closed my eyes, to make the picture disappear.
I opened them after a few seconds, to see them gone. The room was dead silent, I didn't know if Gerard was still in the room. Well, until I felt a hand reach for my shoulder.
He lightly gripped on my shoulder, looking down at me as I scanned the room where the incident had just happened. Everytime I tried to look away from the bed, I just couldn't. My vision will just find its way back to my trauma. I lightly shuddered and then snapped out of the staring contest I had with my invisible enemy as Gerard shook me.
"(Y/N). Look at me." He sternly spoke.
I did as he said, Gerard scanning my eyes.
"Do you not feel comfortable in here?"
I looked down at the floor and shook my head, then looking up at him. I feel scared. What if it happens again? Not only that, but maybe the people around school would start to fear me, thinking that I'm just an insane student the school pitied. That's when I held my head, just thinking negative.
I sat down on a chair near my desk and then sighed. I looked over at the comic book and then sat upright as Gerard sat next to me, on the small Roller Chair.
"There's my comic book, if you want to read it." I rubbed the back of my head.
He looked at it and then back at me.
"I'll rather be comforting my friend at the moment." He smiled.
I nodded and then sighed.
"You do know that I have two other ones and then extras. They're on my shelf." I spoke. "Elementary Madness. Summer Extra. Middle School Frenzie. Summer Extra 2. Death High. Summer Extra 3, and now I'm going to work on my college life comic book."
He went wide eyed and then chuckled.
"(Y/N), you are just the best!" He exclaimed, smiling wide while unconciously rolling in front of me and pulling me close to him by my shoulders. "Comic books based on your life! THOSE ARE MUST READS!"
"Comic books based on your life." I thought in my head, "Those are must reads."
He really has an interest to read my cringe enducing comic books. Especially when their mostly focused on my life. My sorroundings. Will I meet more people like him?
