Recently, I've been listening to "The Light Behind Your Eyes" by My Chemical Romance, ON REPEAT. Gosh, help me, somebody. XD. Anyways, I'll dedicate this song to anybody who is hurting, especially when it's related to break ups with friends or with a loved one. Welp, let's do this! Oh, and sorry if there is any typos or sentences that don't make sense, I was in a rush. Heheh. *Akwardly and apologetically looks away"

It was now the weekend, finally. Leaving me and my two new best friends to relax in each other's dorms. We were in mines, today, Saturday at 3:00 pm. I was studying while Gerard messed around with a bass guitar, trying to sing along while playing it. Angie played with my consoles and chatted with some friends of hers in her phone. As she giggled loudly, I sighed and then rolled over to my back.
"Gosh are you speaking with your boyfriend?" I annoyingly spoke, not wanting to study anymore. "I was trying to study! That upcoming graphic design test is going to be a pain in the ass!" I heard some more giggling, throwing me off completely. Did she just ignore me? I wasn't going to have it. As I stood up, she sat criss cross and pulled me towards her. I lightly gasped and then realized that Angie held her phone closer to my ear. I raised an eyebrow and then immediately recognized the voice.
"Study? In a weekend? How about you come and party like an idiot over at my place?" Angie's friend, Billie Joe Armstrong, chuckled. My mouth was hung open and then I snap my neck over to stare at Gerard who was closely listening to the phone call. His eyes were widened and I could see the excitement in his eyes. He and I, both adored Green Day. I covered my mouth and then nervously spoke into the phone.
"I-I don't know." I laughed. "I swear, I have told myself that i'll never reject my favorite artists from a small get together invite." I heard a chuckle on the other end. There was a small pause and then he spoke up. "Then, how about you keep the promise?" I rolled my eyes and then laughed, tears of both excitement and anxiety clinging on the corner of my eyes, my voice trembling a little. I then nervously giggled, "O-Okay. Yes. When?"
"Tonight will be amazing, sweetheart!"
My heart stopped. I sighed and then mentally said, "Fuck it."
"Yes. Tonight."
"Amazing! See yah, later, babe." Then he hung up.
I was frozen from the shock and then snapped out of it as Angie waved her hand in front of me. I blinked and then took a deep breath before screaming out loud. I jumped out of bed and threw myself on the floor. Angie, with her face scrunched up from the pain of her ears, by my screaming, walked towards me and smiled.
"H-How!?" I giggled like crazy. "No fucking way you just searched that up in a phone book." Angie laughed and then spoke. "We happen to just know each other." I rolled my eyes and then hugged her tightly. Gerard smiled and then sat besides me. Angie yawned and then patted my head.
"Alright then, be sure to find some date then. The party is for couples and you don't want to be left out." I raised an eyebrow and then yelled. "WAIT! YOU GUYS NEVER MENTIONED ANYTHING ABOUT A DATE!" Gerard stayed quiet, blushing and then rubbing the back of his neck. Angie, eyeing the both of us, smirked and then walked out the dorm room, saying, "Well, one possible date is just a kiss away from you!" After that, she ran away to do whatever she was thinking of doing. As the door slammed close, Gerard and I stayed silent. I sighed and then ran a hand thru my hair.
"Gerard." I muttered. Gerard got tense and then turned to face me.
"Yeah?""Should I go?" I asked. I knew I should not. How dare they play me like that? Gerard warmly smiled and then shyly spoke. "You should." I groaned and then complained. "Okay, let's get up and ask every single boy in this damn campus if they want to be my date for a rockstar's party. Including the teachers."
