"Alfie, can you stop growing so tall? I need to climb like 10 storeys to get to your lips." I joked.
He carries me and whispered, "Now, you don't need to."
"Bye. All the best babe." I shouted at my boyfriend who was walking away to his meeting.
I don't know what it was all about. He kept talking about getting a sports scholarship. But I don't want him to get it. Why would I want to be separated from my boyfriend...
"Felisha! Come in now, it's freezing cold out there."
My mom shouted from the window. I walked into the house, putting away my coat. Getting bored, I walked into my room to play some keys.
There was I, playing my rusty
piano in my room while waiting for
Alfie to come home. I heard loud
footsteps and it was obviously my boyfriend.
"Babe! I got the scholarship! The sports scholarship." he said while carrying me.
"Oh my congratulations!" I said while faking a smile. I then walk away swiftly.
"Why babe, what's wrong?" he said, realizing my discomfort.
"How long must you go, and where?"
"4 years in Switzerland."
"4 years?! What about us and our plans?"
We started arguing. Not again.
"We will be alright. We can continue as a long distance relationship right?"
"Oh yeah, while you smooch with other girls there!"
"No! Fel, this scholarship is my dream! You should be happy for me. Fine, i'm leaving." The bad-tempered Alfie, stormed out of the room.
Tears starts streaming down my face thinking of our future. Alfie was the only thing I could think of right now.
