Chapter 16: Fierce Fel

After my 9 hour flight, I got off the plane & went to take the cab.
Out of sight, I caught Alfie holding a board "Felisha Haley get yo ass here"

"Well hello dur," I said to him.

"Hug?" he asked.

"No. Later, when you explain everything,"

"Okay, let's go to your hotel. I booked everything already."

"Wow, okay."

When we arrived at the hotel, we went straight to the room.

It was nice. Comfy bed, television & a huge window with a gorgeous view.

"So, now what?" I asked.

"I'm going to be honest. Yes, I cheated on you with Shannie. Hold on don't freak ou-"

"Fuck you, I came from Connecticut all over here for this?! I can't believe you, don't you reme-"

Before I finished my words, Alfie grabbed me and kissed me passionately.

That was when anger turns into tears.

His hands gently lift my head up. He wiped my tears away, yet that didn't stop them from coming back.

I was waiting.

Waiting for him to say he doesn't care about us, waiting for him to say that he didn't and never loved me. Instead, he said those 3 words. Three words that mended my heart.

The three words said so many times in movies.

"Let me continue?" asked Alfie.

"K," I replied.

"Shannie's dad, passed away and she was terribly sad and hurt. She needed someone to comfort her. I was just friends with her and she fell in love with me. I just acted I did too. I don't want to hurt her," explained Alfie.

"So you don't want to hurt her, but then you're fine with hurting me? What the fuck are you thinking."

"No babe it's not that way. I'm sorry, I wasn't thinking strai-"

"Stop your nonsense. Really. You've been in this scholarship for like what, 6 months and you're already hooking up with some girl? Are you serious! I need to fucking talk to this girl."

"Okay....call her on my phone,"

Trying to talk to Shannie politely will be a challenge.

"Hey. Is this Shannie?" I said.

"Ya.... who is this?" asked Shannie.

"I'm Alfie's girlfriend. I need to talk to you,"

"Er later? I'm at my volleyball practice."

"I don't want to see your face, I just need you to leave my man alone. He is mine and we have been dating for almost 2 years. Please back off, thanks."

With no last words, Shannie just disconnected. I then went Alfie for a hug after 6 months away from each other.

The Zachary thing was in my mind the whole flight. It's always at the corner of my thoughts. I need to tell Alfie. But. I don't have the heart to.

"Can we fuck already for the second time?" shouted Alfie.

"Shut up." I replied.

Alfie looked at me & took out a condom out of his pocket, "Come on,"

"Fine," I replied.
