Chapter 14: Harm

"So how are you without Alfie?" Shalyn asked while giggling.

"Fine I guess."

Since Alfie is not here with me now, I do everything alone. Going to school, have coffee, painting.

I walked past our treehouse and all the memories went through my mind. Tears started streaming down my face.

Just in time, my phone rang. The screen shows, "Alf <3"

"Hey babe!" he said.

My voice was all choked up but I managed to say hi.

"Hey you alright? Your voice...." he replied.

"I'm alright, just a little busy. Skype tonight?" I asked him while whiping my tears off.

"Okay. Love you!" he replied.

Walking home while listening to songs just made it worst. I had to skip "Back to December"

I just had to.

I open up the house door and all I see is mess.

I made my way up to my room and rest.Thinking of all the things are happening. Dad is in prison,Mom the only breadwinner , Anastasia in kindergarten & Alfie in Switzerland.

Why is he away when I really need him. Thinking of life just made me depressed. I took out my blade under my bed and started cutting.

I sobbed as the rain came by.

Slicing open the skin,causing a trail of blood to ooze out. It made a steady stream of deep red liquid that ran from the wound down to the tip of my finger where it dropped to the floor, making a rhythmic "splash" sound.

I breathed out, closing my eyes as the feeling of the fresh wound coursed through me.

The pain was amazing, and it made me smile.

I heard knocks on the door, "Fel! I'm home!"

It was Anastasia.

"Yes, come in" I wipped the blood and tears away and spread my arms wide to hug my little sister.

"Where's mommy?" I asked.

"She's in her room! Taking a rest,"

"Hey, why don't you change up, bathe and we will have dinner," I said.

I made my way down to mom's room.

"Mom, you alright?" I asked.

"I'm alright honey. Just a little tired, mind cooking dinner tonight?" mom replied.

"Okay,"

I went to the bathroom to bathe.

The blood of my fresh cuts started to drip down my arm again as I aggravated it when scrubbing myself harshly in the shower, trying to rid myself of all germs.

Once I was content, in long sleeved shirt and pants, I was ready to make dinner.

"Dinner is ready!" I shouted as loud as I could so both Ana & mom could hear.

"Hmmm, dinner smells good Fel. Mom is proud of you,"

After having our dinner, mom went to for part-time work and I put Ana to bed.

"Fel, when is Daddy coming back?" asked Anastasia.

"Soon, dear." I replied.

I went back to my room to Skype with Alfie. I switched on my laptop, and Alfie was already on.

"Hey babe!" I replied while pulling down my sleeves.

"Hey! You look tired today," Alf replied.

"School was tough,"

"Without me right?" Replied Alfie while giggling.

"Yes, you idiot. I miss you."

"I got a suprise for you,"

"What?"

"You're coming to Switzerland, in next three days. I have already planned with your mom and the tickets is in your covers! I told mom hide it there," said Alfie.

I searched for the tickets and I coudn't believe it! I jumped on my bed while Alfie screaming, "Babe relax!"

I was so happy! But now the thing is..... what if Alfie sees my scars?
