Chapter 17: Superman

What a night.

"Felisha, wake up!" screamed Alfie while jumping on the bed.

"Okay, I'm awake! Can you atleast put on your underwear,"

"You go get ready put on some clothes and we'll go at the rooftop."

"It's 1 a.m what the hell are we suppose to do?"

I said that plus winking.

"It's a suprise. I need to take a shower,"

After that we both got ready and went to the rooftop.

We went to a door which said "Employee's only"

Once we got where we were going, I sure had alot of questions. We headed up the staircase, silently, when we got to the end I was hit with beautiful lights.

We were at the top, looking over the city.

There was a small blanket set at the end, with a Mcdonald's bag. It sure wasn't a fairytale picnic, but it sure like it.

I looked over at Alfie and ran to him like a lost child.

"You like it?" he asked.

"I love it!! You're awesome babe,"

He was about to respond when we heard booms off the distance.

Fireworks!

Alfie motioned for me to come sit down beside him. I did, and he moved the bag so I was sitting right next to him.

I realized that I was a little sleepy and laid my head on his shoulder, while he put his arm around me for support.

When the fireworks came to a close, I looked at him.

He looked at me.

He turned and so he was facing me, pulling me in close. I could feel his warm breath on my neck which made me shudder.

I glanced over and he was smiling looking at the fireworks.

"Why are you smiling, weirdo?"

"Well, I'm here with my best friend, the most beautiful girl, I've my laid eyes on."

I smiled and said, "This best friend of yours, what's she like?"

"She's gorgeous. Her birthday falls on 18 May. She can always make me smile. She makes me laugh. Her smile is beautiful. Her personality is amazing. She makes me happy. I love her, alot"

I started hugging him. And he started singing his favorite song.

"If I could be your superman, I'll fly you to the sky & back again....."

"You don't need that cape for me to appreciate, cause you're my superman."
