"Stop, let me go" I said.

"Why what's wrong? Is it bothering you?" replied Alfie.

"No, no. Definitely."

Oh god, I sound like a hoe.

Alfie smiled and suddenly his arms were back around me only this time he bent to kiss me.

He tasted as good as he smells, so the kiss was nice somewhere in the middle of it. I realized how long it had been since Alf and I had a good hot make-out session. I'm no hoe, I'm not a nun either. And I wasn't lying when I told Alfie I liked him to touch me.

I then slid my arms up around Alfie's broard shoulders, leaning onto him even more.

We fit together nice. He's really tall, but I like that. Alfie makes me feel little and girly and protected, and I like that, too.

I then let my fingers play with the back of Alf's neck where his thick dark hair brushes down.

"You feel so good," he whispered against her lips.

"So do you," I whispered back.

Pressing myself against him I deepened the kiss. And then on impulse.

I took his hand from the small of my back and moved it up so that it was cupping the side of my breast.

He moaned again and his kiss got harder and hotter. He slid his hand down and under my sweater, and then back up so that he had my breast in his bare hand, bare except for my lacy black bra.

"Uh-hum!"

It was Zachary Blake my neighbour, and also my ex.

Alfie & me jumping away from each other like we'd been electrocuted. I watched Alfie's eyes widen as he looked up and behind me, and then saw his smile, which made him totally look like a little boy caught with his hand in a cookie jar (apparently my cookie jar).

"Sorry Zac, we thought we were alone," I stuttered, and because that didn't sound stupid enough I blurted, "Why are you still up at this hour?"

"Just wanted to take some fresh air" replied Zac and a few seconds later he said "Well, I'll go now. Bye."

I then awkwardly waved at him.

"It's so embarassing," I said.

"I'm not embarassed. I'm glad he saw us," Alfie said smugly.

"You're glad? Since when has public making-out become a turn-on for you?"

Great. Alfie was a kinky freak guy, I forgot.

"Public making-out isn't a turn on, but I'm still glad Zac saw us," All the fun had gone out of Alfie's voice, and his smile had turned grim.

"I don't like the way he looks at you,"

"Can we just continue our conversation in my house? I'm freezing & dying for my mac and cheese."

"Fine," he replied.

I opened the house door, and it was in a damn mess.

Alfie reached out to his phone to check his messages.

"Dear Basketball Team Members, the release results and dates for the Scholarship is out. The forms will be issued by post. Thank you for understanding"

It was a text from his coach.

I was still devastated but, this scholarship meant to world to him. I had no rights to say anything.

"Hey. You don't seem to care about Christmas, which is coming in 4 days?"

"My family is broken, I don't have the Christmas spirit." said Alfie in a sad tone.

My heart broke into pieces when I heard that. I gave him a hug to comfort him.

"Why not we decorate my house with Christmas decorations? You can celebrate Christmas with us!" I told him to get his mood back.

"Anything for you babe."

"Wait. I need my mac and cheese first. You want some?"

"Yes!" replied Alfie.

I left him in the hallway while I prepare the food and everything. I took off my sweater, somehow I was sweating.

I was oblivious to him sneaking into the kitchen & watching me cook.

/Alfie's POV/

She's so beautiful. I love her. Damn, Zac disturbed our make-out session. She felt so good. Wait... Why is there bruises on her arms..

Alfie went up to me and said
"Smells good."

He went up to my ears and whispered, "Why is there bruises on your arms?"

Shit. Oh I'm dead. If Alf knows that dad did this, he will attack him.

"Nothing, I fell down"

"No... You're lying."

"I'm not.."

"Tell me the truth, babe."

"Okay fine. My dad... He beats me up."

"What?!" shouted Alfie.
