Snow White

I gently rocked the small baby in my arms while her mother slept in the other room. All of us were right all along, she was about nine and a half pounds all together, she refused to sleep, gazing up at me and her new surroundings outside of Regina's womb.

"You okay?" I asked Emma walking towards her, she was sitting on the bench giving the baby a terrified look. "Yeah, it's just, how the hell can a baby that tiny cause so much pain?!" She cried, scooting away from me as I moved closer.

"She's just a baby Emma, you do know that you had one of your own about sixteen years ago." I smirked, she shot me a glare and then returned her eyes to the squirming infant in my arms. "Exactly, and I had the drugs, I never- NEVER want to go through what Regina just did, ever." She said grimly, pointing at the baby, I chuckled and sat beside her.

"Luckily for me I can barely remember how much it hurt, all I know was it did, and with Neal I had the drugs too. That was crazy, I owe Regina a drink after this." I muttered, making the baby squeal in my arms. I carefully slipped my finger in her mouth to calm her down, staring at Emma.

"Here, try holding her." I said smiling softly, lowering my voice when she pointed to Teresa who was asleep in the corner of the vault against a large book.

"No! I can't- woah! Mom!" Emma cried as I passed the squirming baby into her arms, she gave me an awkward look and held the baby close to her. "Mom. Take her. I can't hold a baby. This is awkward for me I'm an awkward person! She knows that and she's gonna start crying." Emma whispered, I just sat her down and placed a pillow under her elbow.

"She won't bite." I said standing up, wandering into the other room where Regina was completely knocked out in the bed. "We should check and see if everything is all right with her." Teresa said groggily, walking into the room, gently shaking Regina.

"Hey sleepy head, wake up." She whispered, however she still remained sleeping, although I couldn't blame her after what I just witnessed.

"Regina." She said a bit louder, shaking her with a little more force, but she didn't budge, my heart started pounding and I quickly moved the sheets away, revealing a stain of blood on the sheets, pooling beneath her.

"Oh my god. Teresa!" I cried completely terrified, she quickly looked over and her eyes grew to saucers.

"Oh no, okay Snow listen to me carefully." She said rushing into the other room, grabbing all of her supplies, returning in record time.

"I'M LISTENING JUST PLEASE SAVE HER!" I cried, my hands shaking as I stared at her limp body on the bed, the color draining from her face.

"I will, but I need you to help me, I need to cut in and remove her placenta, it tore when I moved the baby and now she's hemorrhaging, I need to get it out to stop the bleeding, now I need you to pull her legs back as far as you can, like when she was pushing okay?!" She barked, I nodded and pulled each leg towards me, my hands shaking as I did, causing more blood to leak from her, making the fear skyrocket in my chest.

Teresa took a deep breath and I saw her cut then stick her arm in my stepmother. "Pull Snow! I need more room!" She commanded, I did as I was told and pulled her legs back, her arm jerked and I saw her pull on something, yanking the placenta out, discarding it, taking a towel and holding it against the incision, her eyes focused on the dying woman in front of her.

I took a deep breath and leaned her up against me, lowering down so I was level with her ear.

"Don't you dare die Regina, don't you leave your children without a mother. Don't let them grow up like me, because they won't have someone like you to swoop in and save them like you did with me. Come on." I sobbed, Emma rushed in with the screaming baby and gasped at the scene, the three of us covered in blood as I held my stepmother's broken body in my arms.
