Emma
"Four more?! Ugh, okay, just keep them all contained." I said to my mother on the phone before hanging up, I slipped it into my purse and stepped into my warm car, thawing my fingers from the sleety weather outside.
"So what do we do now?" Lisa asked curiously, I sighed and put the car in gear, driving slowly down the street. "No clue, they have the dead under control and I was able to speak to both parties, so now we go home and take a nap." I said heading towards my house when my phone rang loudly, I sighed and answered it, balancing it on my shoulder as I drove.
"Emma?!" Robin cried, I quickly pulled over and parked the car.
"Robin what is it?!" I asked nervously, he sounded winded and there was storm sounds on the other side of the phone.
"Something took Roland! It was a large tornado or something that took him and I followed him, but Penelope is still at Granny's! Nobody else is there and I need you to get her! Regina isn't answering!" He cried, I already had the car halfway turned around and started speeding down the street, making Lisa hurl into another bag.
"What are we doing?!" She cried, I hung up and sped down the street towards the bed and breakfast, skidding in front and jumping out with her on my heels.
"Where is she!" I demanded, rushing into the room, Granny went to speak but I cut her off, sprinting into the back where a pale Eva was weakly holding Penelope in her arms safely, the tornado whipping the foundation.
"Let's go!" I yelled, rushing over to Eva and scooping the baby out of her arms, helping her up and hanging onto her to prevent her from passing out, purple smoke encircling us.
"I have her, are you two okay?!" I yelled once we landed in my house, tightly holding Penelope to make sure I didn't drop her. "I'm- I need a garbage!" Eva groaned, rushing into my bathroom, Lisa followed her and I saw her holding her hair back, gagging herself, I wanted to help but suddenly the little baby in my arms started crying, I jolted back, startled by her high-pitched wails and awkwardly tried to sooth her.
"Uh, okay baby- stop crying!" I tried convincing in a sing song voice, but she only cried harder, making me nervous. I sighed and set her down next to me on the sofa, holding her in place as I dialed with the other hand.
Regina didn't answer and I was growing increasingly nervous. I knew I had my mom dealing with the dead so I was out of options.
"Hello?" A British accent called from the kitchen, Zelena and Charlotte coming through the door, I sighed in relief and rushed over to the former witch and held the baby out to her.
"She won't stop crying!" I exclaimed, she nodded and walked me over to the sofa where she waved her hand and made a bassinet appear for Charlotte was in the middle of her mid morning nap.
"Alright sit down Swan." She said moving to the sofa, disregarding her screaming niece. "Take her!" I demanded, but she shook her head and looked at me.
"No, you're going to do it yourself." She said sitting up straight, I looked down at the baby and exhaled nervously, my arms trembling.
"Alright, first you relax, now just rock her gently, like you're evenly coating something with flour." She said making a rocking motion, I nodded and mirrored her, making Penelope calm slightly.
"Now check to see if she is hungry or if she needs a diaper change." She instructed, I gently set her down and moved the blanket away, revealing a foul smell coming from her bottom.
"Oh hell no! You're doing this!" I cried at the ginger, she shook her head and handed me a diaper and a package of wipes.
"No, now undo her onesie and take the diaper off and wipe her." She said handing me the items I needed, I cringed and did as I was told, gasping as she continued going as I changed her.
