Regina

The three of us rushed up the stairs and I lead them down my long hallway to where the nursery was, but besides the sleeping babies, it was empty.

"Henry! Where is she?!" I shouted from the staircase, he pointed to the other hallway leading to the large restroom.

"Eva?" Chris shouted from the other side of the door, attempting with the doorknob, however it was locked.

"MMM, yeah babe?" She moaned from the other side, I saw his eyes grow in fear and frantically try with the door.

"Eva let me in, I need to see if you're okay!" He demanded, but I heard her inhale sharply and attempt to keep her wails to herself.

"EVA PLEASE OPEN THE DOOR!" He demanded, now growing more alarmed with every minute passing.

"Hey, calm down, let me." I said moving the frantic Doctor out of the way, waving my hand over it, making the lock click.

"Now calm down, you're not her doctor right now, you're her husband, so take a deep breath and relax." I said opening the door and leading him into the bathroom where she was leaning on the sink with her face in one hand, the other one gripping the sink with incredible force.

"Eva, do you think these are real?" I whispered, gently rubbing her arm as she bit her lip. "I don't know, I've had them for a while, I thought it was just the false labor, but now it hurts really bad!" She gasped, the pain evident in her eyes.

"Alright, well let's check and see, come on, you can use our room." I said to the couple, helping her into the bedroom.

"Mom?" Henry whispered, peeking his head into the room, making the couple jump in fright and Eva blush.

"Honey go wait downstairs." I said quickly, blocking his view. "It's not that, I think the darkness is back." He said nervously, pointing to the window, the sky blackening rapidly.

"What the hell?!" I muttered, Robin rushed up the stairs and stared out of the window with a terrified look, pulling me close.

"Regina she's about three centimeters, we should go now." Chris said helping his wife up, my stomach churned and I looked outside warily.

"We can't ever just go to the hospital and have a baby can we?!" I scowled under my breath, looking at my husband with a tired look.

"What?" Chris asked, clearly frazzled over the situation, holding his wife close to him.

"I know this sounds repetitive, but something bad is going on outside, in order to keep everyone safe we have to keep everyone here under a protection spell." I said cringing, their eyes grew to saucers and I saw both of their fear increase.

"Regina, I have to get my wife and child to a hospital, it's their safety we are talking about!" Chris demanded, setting Eva down gently before moving close to me with a hard look.

"Chris, this is not something you can outrun, it's powerful, if you two go out there it will find you and fill you with darkness, and that is a painful process to come back from, trust me, I know." I begged, Eva groaned and curled on her side, gripping Teresa's hand as she tried to calm her down.

"Chris she's right, whatever that is, well it's dangerous, you're safe in here." Teresa said trying to convince both of them, Chris looked back painfully and moved next to Eva, taking her hand and kissing her temple.
