He's the son of the lord of Meteli?! I was spacing off when the lord of Meteli walked out onto the balcony inside the ballroom. He clapped his hands together, the ballroom went silent.
"Step forward Laurance and your chosen partner" Laurance flashed me a grin and dragged/led me to the the middle of the ballroom where no one was standing. The girls glared at me, "Let the first dance commence!"
I stared into his sky-blue eyes while everyone was staring at us. For moment it felt like it was just us two in the ballroom. I catched Zoey's eye in the crowd. I was so excited to get to see the ball room and I left Zoey behind. I smiled at her, she crossed her arms but smiled at the same time.
The music halted, and we stopped dancing. Then everyone joined in dancing, I quickly slid away into the back garden. I was looking at the orange daylilys when Laurance, the son of Meteli came to me. "Hey" he said "h-hello" I replied, "you're a really good dancer" he said while chuckling. "Umm what is your name" he asked while chuckling. "O-oh it's Aphmau. "It is a pleasure to meet you" my cheeks burned.
