Laurance and Aphmau

Realisation

(Laurance POV; for the whole chapter)
I couldn't move, he I mean she was Aphmau? I wanted to scream wait, but she had already disappeared.

I kicked a stone in frustration. "AGH" I yelled, oops, my sister Cadenza walked over to me. "What's the matter?" She said queitly with a sympathetic look. "No...it's nothing" I said while looking at the ground. She put her hands on her hips but said nothing. For a few moments there was nothing but silence, but Cadenza grabbed my by the collar of my shirt and dragged me back into the palace.

My sister let me at the door of my mother's garden. Cadenza winked and left with a grin. I pushed the door open and saw my mother reading a book next to the flowers. "Hello, Laurance it's been a while."

A smile spread across my face when I sat down next to her. It was more a forced smile since alot of things were troubling me.
"Laurance it's obvious something is troubling you." My mother said with a worries expression. I sigh, nothing can be hidden from my mother. I was about to say it when my mother broke into conversation.

"The tension is still high with Phoenix drop isn't it hmm?" My mother said. I looked at the ground. "I mean can't the lord of Phoenix drop and Hayden work things out?! We don't even know why this way started." I sigh, "well we have two children you and Cadenza, they have an only child how lonely would that be!" Trying to help my mother I fumbled for a question "what is the only child of the lord of Phoenix drop's name?" The only that I could think of.

She put her hand on her chin,"hmm..." I sighed, "something amongst aph, and cats I think?" She said looking like she was thinking hard. I opened my eyes wider, "do you mean Aphmau?" "Ah ha! That's it well done Laurance!" She said while parting my on the back.

I clenched my teeth and shook a bit. "Laurance are you ok?" She said with another worried expression. "I-I need to g-go" I said while clenching my arm with a hand.

I ran unsteadily to my room, I could not believe this. I lied in my bed thinking about Aphmau. "Hmm" I smiled a little. I would visit her tonight and give her a suprise.
