I heard a knock on the door and it immediately opened. I looked up to see the most beautiful boy I think I've ever seen in my life. Well, technically the only other boy I had seen was Sean and while my brother was attractive, this boy was even better. He had short dark hair and electrifying blue eyes. His strong jaw and plump lips made him oh so delectable. He had broad shoulders like her brother and his tight grey shirt outlined his muscular torso perfectly. His blue jeans hung dangerously low on his hips but his hands were stuffed in his pockets giving him a shy appearance.

"Hi." I smiled politely at the boy. He returned a sheepish half smile and his eyes lit up slightly, making my heart race.

"Hi, I'm Jason. I'm one of your best friends." His voice was deep and smooth and I melted at the sound of it. He pulled up a chair next to my bed and sat down. Sean simply walked towards the door.

"Well I'll leave you two to catch up." He gave Jason a look that I couldn't quite decipher but I pushed it aside as the Jason boy turned to me.

"So, how are you feeling?" His blue eyes met mine and I almost forgot to respond. They were a stunning shade of blue, and they were very bright but also had an icy undertone that bore into you.

"Just like I've been hit by a car, but other than that, absolutely perfect." I said sarcastically without realizing what I was saying. I gasped soon after the words left my mouth and I slapped a hand over my mouth. "I'm so sorry! I don't know what came over me!" Jason just chuckled which threw me off and I frowned. "What is it?" I asked, confused and annoyed.

"It's just good to know that you're still the same sarcastic Amelia you've always been." He sent me that cute half smile again and I silently prayed my heartbeat wouldn't go up too much since I was connected to all those machines.

"Ah. So what was I like then, besides sarcastic." I sat up straighter I needed to pay attention to this crucial information. "Since you claim to be my best friend, I assume you know everything about me. Or at least almost everything." I said brightly. I was excited to know who I was and what my friends were like.

"Well..." I could see Jason's eyes grow cloudy in reminiscence. "You're almost always happy, except for when you're sad," I giggled at his obvious statement and he smiled in return.

"You're really smart. I mean, really, really smart. You always have A's. I personally don't know how you do it. Uh... You play volleyball currently although it is March so the season is over and you love to sing, especially along with the radio in the car, but you never let many people hear your beautiful voice and that also surprises me. You're really kind and caring. You love to help others and you're very bossy but you're a great leader. You're a hugger," He chuckled again, " and you're really social. You get along with almost everyone. I don't know how you do it all." Jason looked back at me.  I had been fixed on him the whole time. "But you're also sarcastic as hell and can be the stubbornest person I know, although I might take that back because your brother can be just as stubborn. But you always stand up for what you believe in and I've always admired that about you." I felt myself blushing as he continued to compliment me.

"And what about you?" I asked.

"Don't you think you should find out for yourself?" His eyes sparkled when he countered back.

"I guess so." I admitted.

"Oh and you hate being wrong." Jason added with a smirk.

"So I'm usually right." I countered, saying it as more of a statement rather than a question.

"I didn't say that-" "But it was implied." This time it was my turn to smirk.

"I'm not going to comment!" Jason laughed and I couldn't help but smile. His laugh was so... heart warming and familiar, if I was even allowed to describe it as that. His laugh just made you want to laugh as well. You couldn't help but smile when you heard his laugh.

"You just did, technically!" I pointed out and we both laughed.

"Yeah, I guess I did." Jason smiled as we both calmed down.

"Jason?" I asked and Jason's head shot up. "Can we play twenty questions? Except it would be more like me asking you all the questions since I don't remember too much..." I trailed off.

"Yeah sure." Jason shrugged nonchalantly.

"Really?" I suddenly became very excited. I wanted to know more about this dark haired, blue eyed boy.

"Yeah, why not? We need to start somewhere." I couldn't help but smile as Jason's face lit up as well.
