This is a sonnet, and sonnets are typically love poems. However, because I did not want to write a love poem for ELA in school, I was more than happy to find a different subject to write about. I hope you like it!
The source of your imagination
Can be anything you want it to be
Not even the sky hinders creation
Don't let another force you to a knee
Strive for your goals lest you be one's slave
Be an author; entertain the people
Fight in the military; help us save
Be a priest; go preach in the steeple
Be a teacher and educate children
Be a metalworker; create good tools
Be an officer and sound the siren
Be the next president and set the rules
Be and electrician; power the world
Be anything; be the future unfurled.
