[Omega]

"....and that's why we need to change our living quarters."

All the other Ghouls agreed with 'hell yes' as Alpha, like our spokes person that he is, finished his little rant on why we should rotate and move our rooms to mingle accordingly to our 'ranks' in the band.

I was honestly not paying attention to a word he has spoken in the last 45 minutes. Too caught up in my own mind to even pretend. I mean I don't even play an important part in the band, let alone in the Clergy. I'm just the Ghoul on the right named Omega.

"Are you still with us?." That smooth velvety voice. I could listen to it all day.

Suddenly I felt a smack to me head.
"Ouch!. What was that for?."

Earth snickered as I whined and answered, "Well you didn't vote on Alphas proposition and Papa has been calling to you for the past 2 minutes so I decided to bring you back to earth, get it!. Cause I'm Earth, and never mind."

I let out a huff of air. "To answer, no I do NOT wish to change my room I am fine in my little cave, thank you." I then turned to Papa. " I must apologise for my aloofness Sir, what do you wish to tell me?."

I waited as Papa simply stated at me. I began to fidget under his peculiar and intense bicolour stare. I've always been the fidgety one.

Papa finally cleared his throat and spoke up.

"Well little one, you say you wish to stay in your already established room, correct?."

I simply nodded my head too nervous to answer.

"Very well then however, since I wanted that room for obvious privacy reasons..."

I didn't let him finish, I knew what he was going to say. Sighing I got up.

"Very well sir I will see to emptying the space as quickly as possible and look for another room to stay in." Dejected I turned around and began to walk away from the common living room towards my former room and begin to pack.

As I was walking away I suddenly was pushed against the wall.

"You foolish little one. You know I demand respect and obedience always as the head of the Clergy!."

"I-I am sorry Sir. I d-didn't mean to disrespect you, your Unholiness. I was only doing as I thought you wished." I spoke softly as to not anger Emeritus any further.

I heard a sigh and was slowly released from the grip that pushed me on to the wall.

I cautiously turned around to look at Papa. He was usually a very calm and polite gentlemanly being. On the rare occasion that he got angry, however, we saw why he was the leader of the Clergy and well let's just say I have a special talent for upsetting him aside from being really good at guitar.

Emeritus took 3 slow breaths and opened his eyes to look straight at me, again.

"Don't you dare fidget Omega." He spoke calmly. Too calmly. Wait did he just call me by my name?. I fucked up big time.

I gulped but otherwise did not move and remained quiet.

"Now I will finish what I was saying before you so rudely decided to interrupt me. I wanted your living space but since you don't wish to move, I have decided to respect your request."

I sighed and relaxed a little at the good news. It was no secret that I very much preferred to spend my time alone unless otherwise needed. I only mingled with the others and Papa when we were summoned to perform or when we had to perform Clery Rituals.

"However, you are to tidy up the spare room in the area for me as I will be moving into that room. Now run along little one." Emeritus finished and walked back to the other Ghouls.

I stood there frozen. Did, did he just say we will be living within the same living space?.

As soon as my shock wore out a bit I quickly made my way to my section of the temple.

The temple was huge with many empty rooms so when we initially moved in we were all allowed to pick where we wanted to room. I had chosen the abandoned tower to the right of the main hall.

Forever to the right behind Emeritus, I reminded myself.
