Chapter 10 : Six Flags

Selena's POV:

I stared out the car thinking about possibly anything. I looked to my left and connected my eyes with Dylan. He gave me a slight smirk and continued looking at the road.

I started seeing the parks rides. To be honest I never really been a big fan of rollercoasters. I thought they were fun just kinda scary you know?

We finally parked the car and got out. Dylan reached for my hand and I gladly took his and intertwined our fingers. We walked into the park and it wasn't that bad. Me and Dylan got noticed a couple times but it was like people just left us alone which was relieving.

"Alright beautiful where to?" he asked

"Hmm let's go to that green one!"

"Come on let's go!" He held tight onto my hand and we started running to the line. Awesomely enough we got to cut in the line of course because we are famous.

We got into the cart and I started to feel my heart racing. I lowered the shoulder bar and tied the seat buckle. I looked to my right and Dylan looked at me with much excitement.

"Ready for this Gomez?"

"Uhhh not really." you could hear the fear in my voice.

He held out his hand. "Here hold on to my hand."

"You better not let go." I said sternly.

"Never." he gave me a promising smile.

The ride started lifting off and it felt like I was free falling. The adrenaline rush felt amazing. I could hear Dylan screaming and I was just laughing the whole time. I still held tight onto his hand.

The ride came to a stop and we got out. "Wow. Well wasn't that a rush!"

"Yes! That was soo much fun let's go again!" I exclaimed

"Hold on babe we still have a lot of other rides to go on.." he said with a little laugh in his voice.

We got on ride after ride. I'm pretty sure we went on every roller coaster.

Dylan even won me a bear that held a heart, which was verrry cute.

"Hold on. I want to take a picture of us. For memories." I said with a smile.

I took out my phone and we started posing.

Dylan kissed my cheek as I smiled in one. We kissed on another. The last one was just Dylan hugging me from behind.

"Come on let's get something to eat I'm starving." Dylan exclaimed

"Okay okay come on."

Dylan held onto my hand again and we started walking off. I felt like nothing could ruin this day absolutely nothing. That is until..

I felt my phone ring. I grabbed it out of my pocket and looked at the screen.



Text Message

From: Justin B.

I see you.



I felt my heart sink and my body froze. I started searching crazily with my eyes running out of Dylan's grip.

"Selena where are you going!?"

I didn't respond I just kept running. I was looking everywhere and still nothing.

I felt like my every move was being watched. I know he's here.

I felt someone grab onto my arm and I jumped. I turned around to see Dylan

"Woah woah calm down it's me."

I ran into his arms feeling like that's the safest place I can be.

"Sorry it's just...nothing I thought I saw..."

"Saw what?"

"...An old friend."

"Oh okay. Fuck. Don't scare me like that again."

"Sorry."

It was already 9 o'clock and I didn't want to be here any longer.

"Hey uh c-can we just skip the food I'm really tired."

"Uh okay? Sure. Hold on let me go to the bathroom first."

Oh shit. Well I can't tell him he can't go.

"Ok...but hurry up. I mean it."

He ran into the guy's bathroom so I just went into the girl's bathroom.

I finished my business and went outside. I felt myself get pulled and had someone's lips press hard and fast against mine.

I didn't want to open my eyes. I already know who it is. Just then a husky scary voice spoke up.

"I told you I saw you." He whispered in my ear.

I finally opened my eyes looking straight into his darkened blank ones.

"I'll see you again. This time without that dick following you."

With that, he walked off. I stood there frozen for like the second time today.

How did he find me?

Dylan finally came out of the bathroom. He saw me standing there freaked out.

"Hey what's wrong?"

"Oh uh n-nothing. Nothing a-at all." I said with a fake smile.

"Are you sure? You're looking kind of pale."

"Y-yeah totally. Come on let's go.."

The drive home was really quiet. Dylan knew something was wrong but I didn't want to tell him.

I didn't want to scare him away. He's all I have.

We finally got to my house and again I wanted him to stay with me.

"Hey uhh I don't want to sound a little pushy but you don't mind staying again right?"

"Not at all. Come on let's go inside."

Even in Dylan's arms I couldn't sleep. So Dylan stayed up with me until I could.

"Are you sure you aren't tired? I don't want to force you into staying awake with me." I whispered

"It's fine. There's nothing I'd want to do more." He said with a innocent smile.

We layed in bed talking all night. It felt nice talking to him. Being in his arms. It made me forget almost anything.
