Chapter 28: Letting Me Free

Selena's POV:

I looked to my left and caught Dylan's eyes.

" Thank you."

"Anytime..."

I opened the door and walked out of the car and onto the path way that lead to the door of my house.

"Bye Selena."

"Don't worry I'll come back."

I gave him a faint smile before walking into the house.

Time to do this right.

To be honest I was a little scared. I didn't know who Justin was going to react, but I guess it's now or never right?

I opened the door after collecting my thoughts. Walking in slowly I noticed the furniture thrown everywhere and pictures of Justin and I smashed.

"oh god.." I whispered

"I need to talk to you." A husky voice said from the doorway of the kitchen.

I looked up to see his bloodshot eyes and beat up hands.

"Look at what you did to this place! You destroyed everything! And you hurt yourself!"

"Selena calm down. We have to talk.."

I rolled me eyes and followed him into the kitchen. He sat as I took a seat across from him.

I was about to speak when he finally said something.

"I don't think I can make us work anymore. This whole time I've been lying to you and its only getting worse for me. Honestly before this-"

"No don't...I already know what happened. Dylan told me about it. The cheating, the fight, all of it."

He clenched his jaw in anger. But the look on his face showed sadness.

"I think we just can't see each other anymore. You deserve him to be with him not trapped with me in a bunch of lies." He said before I could react.

It hurt. Being broken up by your first love. But, sometimes it just doesn't last forever.

I still loved him. I loved him for letting me be free.

I stood up and walked over to him.

"Thank you for loving me." I kissed him on the cheek and left the house.

I walked down those same steps and saw Dylan waiting there with his hands in his pockets leaning in his car.

A smile over came my face as I walked closer and closer.

"There. All done."

He smirked and took my hand. "I think you forgot something though."

"What?"

He pulled me fast and whispered. "You're clothes."

I laughed smacking his chest.

"Wow. Thanks." I smiled before leaning in and kissing him.

He smiled into the kiss before pulling away.

"Woo. I've been wanting to do that for a while."

"Such a moron."

Now, let's see where my next adventure takes me.
