Teenage Years (Book 1)

Chapter 11

It was March 1st, and Hailey and Michael were in their study hall class.  They were both extremely bored.  There was a few minutes left of the class and Hailey and Michael were sitting next to each other in the back of the class talking about random shit.

"I'm so booooored," Michael said.

"I am too." Hailey said yawning. 

"Class is almost over."

"No shit Sherlock"

Michael laughed, "is there ever a time where you're not sarcastic?"

"I don't think its possible for me to ever not be sarcastic."

"Really?" Michael said with a smirk.  "I haven't noticed."

Hailey leaned close. "Try me, Clifford."

Michael just looker at her.  Then he closed his eyes and closed the gap between them.  Hailey was surprsed at first, comsidering she hadnt had her first kiss yet too.  but before she could figure out what to do the bell rang and Michael pulled away and ran out of the room.

"Oh my god," Hailey thought as she got her stuff and ran out of the room and down the hallway.  While she was running, Justice was going down the same hallway on the opposite side.  Hailey grabbed her arm and dragged down the hallway with her.

"I'm not okay come with me."

"Whats wrong," she asked. 

"I don't even fucking know!"

"Hailey, calm the fuck down! What happend?"

"Michael just freaking KISSED me!"

"What! Wait i knew that was going to happen eventually!"

hailey slapped Justice's arm.  "Stop! I mean he didn't say anything. He just kissed me and left!"

"Hey, calm down go talk to him or something"

"I cant!

"why not?"

"You know me! I'm too awkward. I can't just go up to him and talk to him, besides I won't see him again is any other classes anyway."

"Whatever Hailey."

After MIchael kissed Hailey, MIchael didn't know what to do so he just ran out of the class.  The guys were walking down the hallway as well.

"Hey Mike, You okay?" Luke asked.

"No," Michael said.  "I really fucked up."

"How?" Calum asked.

"Hailey and I were talking and I don't know we were being mean to each other in a playful way and I guess she leaned forward a little and I don't know I just kissed her!"

"Well, how did she react?"

"I don't know."

"How do you not know, mate."

"Well I may have ran away..."

"Dude! That was so stupid! Now she might think you did that on accident."

"I know, I didn't know what to do because she didn't kiss back or anything."

"That's what I thought when I kissed Justice for the first time," Luke said. "Turns out she just didn't have her first kiss yet.  That's probably what happened with Hailey."
