Teenage Years (Book 1)

Chapter 4

After putting everything in their lockers and going to all of their new classes, it was finally lunch time which meant detention.

"Lets just get this over with" Hailey said as her and Justice walked to the classroom that held detention. They walked into the classroom with their lunches and saw that the guys were already there in their seats. The boys looked at the girls, smiled, and waved. The two best friends waved back before sitting down.

"Well now that you are all here, welcome to detention" the teacher, Mr. George, said "Lucky for you guys, you are stupid enough to get detention on the first day of school."

The girls looked at each other and rolled their eyes. Justice made her hand into a gun and put it up to her head and Hailey nodded in agreement until they turned back to Mr. George.

"As I was saying, in detention you shall not talk at all. You may only sit in silence -"

"Watcha do? Some one steal your car radio?" Justice mumbled.

Mr.George glared at her and she and Hailey laughed a little and fist bumped and said "Pound it" without realizing the confused faces the boys were making.

"Any ways you have to sit quietly and eat your lunch until the period is over. If I hear a single voice you all will have to write an -"

"Excuse me, Mr. George?" the speaker asked.

Mr. George groaned "Yes?"

"There's a little problem in the office, do you think you could come and help?"

He sighed "Yeah I'll be right there, class stay here and no talking" Mr. George said before leaving the classroom. Hailey and Justice both took out there notebooks and started doodling band stuff. The guys sat there bored.

"Hey whatcha doing?" Calum asked them.

"Drawing" Hailey said.

"That's it?"

"Well we aren't allowed to do anything else"

"Except eat" Justice added.

"Well Mr. George isn't here so we can talk" Luke said.

"I guess but we don't want to get in trouble." Justice said.

"God you guys are losers." Michael said.

"Well sorry we don't want to get in trouble by our parents and get our phones taken away," Hailey said. "You guys have been away from highschool a little too long."

"You guys are really sarcastic, huh?" Michael said

"Its a gift."

"Wow guess that answers my question."

"Yeah, better get used to it Clifford."

"Wait, what is your last name?"

"Buinauskas."

"Wow okay, that's hard to say."

"Guys stop flirting with each other," Ashton interrupted "Mr. George is coming back!"

Michael and Hailey both blushed as the rest of them laughed. Then Mr. George walked back in the room.

Everyone stopped talking and just ate their food as Mr. George sat down in his chair. Justice looked at Michael and Hailey who were still blushing. Justice smiled and started drawing in her notebook. \

Michael looked at Hailey from behind and smiled as he started to kicking her desk.

Hailey froze and turned and faced him "Yes?" she whispered.

Michael smiled "I just wanted to say hi" he whispered back.

Hailey smiled "Well then goodbye" she whispered turning back around.

Michael gasped "Your mean" he whispered in a little kid voice.

Hailey shook her head laughing quietly.

A little while later the bell rang and everyone gathered there stuff and walked out of the room. Hailey and Michael were walking together talking until Justice walked up to Hailey. She placed the picture she drew on Hailey's stuff she was carrying and walked away. Hailey looked at Justice confused and looked at the picture. The picture was Hailey and Michael kissing under a tree, at sun set, and the tree had there names carved into it. Hailey froze and looked at Justice who was at her locker.

"JUSTICE I'M GOING TO KILL YOU!" She yelled and Justice started laughing. Hailey groaned and ran over to Justice, and threw her stuff on the ground.

"What the fuck is wrong with you?! Why would you do that?!" Hailey yelled smacking Justice in the arm really hard.

"Ow! Well you guys were flirting and I was bored so I drew you two. By the way I totally ship it" Justice said.

"I hate you" Hailey said hitting her bestfriend again.

"Ow! Love you too"

The boys then came up to the girls "Uh Hailey, Why are you beating Justice? I mean, it was pretty funny but why?" Calum laughed.

"This is just our relationship, one of us say something mean to each other, we hit each other." Justice said.

"Oh, well what are you two doing after school today? We want to be friends with the both of you, but we still don't know much about you yet."

"Well right after school we were supposed to go to my house after school to re-dye our hair," Hailey said "You guys should stop by, we will most likely be drenched in hair dye because we are immature and don't know how to handle hair dye"

"I could help" Michael offered.

Both of the girls blushed bright red "Sure if you want" Hailey said.

"Awesome, see you guys then" Ashton said.

The girls smiled "Yeah, you too, bye ."
