Just Married (BaekDara fanfic)

Complicated

The exams are finally over, the BaekDara couple decided to visit their friends at the hospital. Baekhyun is excited to see Lu Han again after being in coma for a while. Ayaka informed them three days ago that Lu Han is finally awake. When Baekhyun finally opens the door that separates them and Lu Han, he saw his best buddy sitting at the bed while staring outside the window.

"Yo deer!" Baekhyun yells and Lu Han look at him with small smile draped on his face.

"Hey Baekhyun and Dara" Lu Han greets back but not enthusiastically.

Baekhyun furrowed his brow and hurriedly made his way to his friend. He is worried that Lu Han seems sad after being awake from coma. "Hey man, what's the matter?"

Lu Han shook his head. "Nothing"

Dara silently placed the fruits that they bring at the table beside Lu Han's bed. "I'm glad you're finally awake."

Lu Han just look at her and smiled at her, but it wasn't the smile that she used to see in Lu Han. His smile was kind of sad, but did not ask about it. She's not that closed to Lu Han to start with.

Looking around the room, Dara can't seem to spot her best friend. "Where's Ayaka?"

"She won't be coming back here anymore."

Baekhyun and Dara look at each other with confusion.

"What do you mean she won't be coming here again? She's been here taking care of you, so why won't she be here?" Baekhyun asked the question that he and Dara were asking.

"There's no reason for her to pretend to care. I already broke the engagement, three days ago."

"What?!" Dara and Baekhyun blurt out at the same time.

Lu Han broke the engagement?

Dara pushed Baekhyun out of the way and she tugs Lu Han arm. "I know you guys did not get along, but why did you do that? Do you think she is pretending to care for you? She saved you from Cho. She cared for you so much to the extent that she risked her own life just to save you. Lu Han she cares about you. She cares about you more than she cared other people."

Baekhyun pull his wife away from Lu Han and held the crying Dara closed to his chest. "She cares so much about you, Lu Han. She does."

Lu Han was shocked by what he heard. He knows Ayaka told him that she went there to save him a not Taou but Lu Han did not believe her. his mind is fixed with the idea that Ayaka will never care for him and that she only pretended to care not to feel so guilty of what happened. And that risking her life for him is just a show.

"I have to call Ayaka." Dara said grabbing her hand and immediately called her best friend.
