My turn to cry

Things between Baekhyun and Dara drastically change. The progress in their married relationship disappears into thin air. Both became too quiet and too distant. Sometimes, when Baekhyun tried to hold Dara, the latter will immediately move away as if Baekhyun is like a virus. It surely made Baekhyun so sad. Sometimes in the middle of the night, Dara woke up with space empty next to her and found out that Baekhyun was sleeping in their couch instead in their bed. Dara will cry herself to sleep because of that.

The news of Chanyeol coming back to Seoul is getting in their way big time. Their once joyous home is now a cold quiet place. Two souls wanted to reach out for one another but an invisible barrier between them is too strong that they can't seem to get through each other.

Dara is currently sitting in their living room, waiting for her husband to arrive. Tonight, she is determined to talk with Baekhyun. She needed to break the wall between them because the emptiness is making her insane. It was already midnight but Baekhyun hasn't been back yet. Dara knows that Baekhyun purposely getting home late to avoid bumping into her inside their home.

Dara pulled her knees up to her chest and rocking herself softly. She knows that the tension between her and Baekhyun started after they went home the day she received a phone call from Chanyeol. She stops talking to her husband and she won't let him hold her. But that doesn't mean that she hated her husband, no she don't. But she is confused. Confused of all the emotions she felt right after hearing Chanyeol's voice and knowing that the latter is coming back. Her first love is coming back and it is making her feel so confuse.

She should be happy knowing that Chanyeol, her first love is coming back to her but she could not bring herself to, and that's because of her growing feelings for her husband. It shouldn't be that complicated, she knows that. She knows what the best solution to end this complicated relationship that she have. She can just easily let go of Chanyeol since she is already married and she's also growing feelings to her husband, but she can't just do that.

It's not as easy as it looks like. Her heart wanted both of them. It isn't fair but she can never let go of any of them. She can't let go of Chanyeol because she knows that she still loves the guy. And Baekhyun, she can't. She really can't let go of him. Baekhyun has been there all the time. He supported her. He comforted her. He cares for her. And above all, he loves her.

The sound of the door, pulls Dara away from her thoughts. She immediately straightened her posture and waited for her husband to walk in their living room.

"Why are you late?" Dara asked when Baekhyun stepped inside the living room.

Baekhyun stops in his tracked and tiredly looked at his wife. "Why are you still up? It's past midnight, you should rest."

"I was...waiting for you." Dara nervously answered.

Baekhyun chuckles while loosening his tie. "That is so nice of you, wifeu. But you don't have to. I'm a bit busy at the company so I'll be late for quite a while."

Dara followed Baekhyun towards their kitchen. "Did you already have your dinner?"
