They test us,
To see if we are smart enoguh,
To excel their already high expectations,
On how we are suppose to think, sleep and eat. They test us,
With ongoing words,
And equations even they,
Dont know how to solve. They talk,
About how they studied,
How they acomplished,
The task known as school. They talk,
Like they understand,
Like they were expected to read minds,
And pass a test,
On things they barley learned yesterday. They show their disappiontment,
When they see the,
Big, bloody, red F on our papers.
They show their fake surprise,
When they ask us why. They claim we are lazy,
They claim we only look at our phones.
They claim we dont know,
How to sit and talk for mintues at a time.
They claim all these things about us,
As if if they were raised like us.They keep saying times have changed.
But they dont undertand,
The school bored wants more than we can delivered.
They expect us to just know something,
Without it being taught.
They cut our arts programs,
To make room for technology and science.
They fail us then blame us,
For not studying,
Even when we have.
They try to make us smarter,
By making us feel insecure in our seats,
And scared to take,
One simple test. They cause our anextiy,
They make us believe,
Every test we take,
We are going to fail,
Because they have bestowed,
So much pressure on us,
The functions in our brains collasps,
Like the ticking in a clock,
Minutes before we start,
Any test we must take.
