I herd it first,
The ring of a million gun shots.
All around me people were running,
Trying to escape the horror,
While I stayed,
Paralyzed with fearr. Then I saw it,
A black sleek car,
Speeding down the road,
Pelting out more bullets than I could count.I remember the sound of glass shattering,
I tried to escape,
If only there was somewhere to go.I ducked under the wooden table,
Pressed myself agin St the brick wall,
Took a deep breath,
and closed my eyes.I listened,
To the screams of children,
The panicking of adults,
The sound of gun shots,
Destroying the word,
I once knew.By the time the car passed,
My cheeks were stained with tears,
and my hands were stained with blood. This is a little tribut e I wrote to all who suffered from the pairs attacks.
