The three wolves all lived in the same den. Shadow asked them if they would want to stay together and they all agreed. Snowfire settled near the entrance of the den, listening to other wolf's conversations.
"I heard there was an Eclipolf this year." Said one great grey wolf.
"Yeah. That army that the wolf, Queen Alyla, is building is going against her or him. It is said the reason why Alyla is doing so is because the Eclipolf told her off and ran her out of her den. Now her assistant, Sparc, her own pup, has turned on the Eclipolf too." Another grey wolf explained.
Queen Alyla? What is the name of Lupus is that dumb wolf's problem?! Snowfire cursed in her head. She went back to the conversation.
"I just heard yesterday that the Eclipolf is in our clan by Alpha Stamla Stafaozen." The great grey wolf named Skratch exclaimed. The other two wolves stared in shock.
"Our clan h-has the Eclipolf?! That's a strong weakness!" A white female, Deathbringer or death for short growled. Snowfire became more alert into the conversation. She decided to go over there and join them.
"I couldn't help to hear that the Eclipolf is in our clan." Snowfire snarled softly at the higher ranked wolves of the Stafaozen clan.
"Yes indeed. How could Stamla accept a cursed wolf?" Death snarled, stomping her paw in the snow.
"So what is your name? Aren't you the new arrival wolf?" Death asked. Snowfire gave a small shiver. The plan, Snowfire!
"I am yes, the new arrival. I am." She paused.
"You're not the Eclipolf are you?" Skratch lowly growled.
"No i am certainly not Skratch." Snowfire squeezed her eyes shut. Why did I say that!!
"How do you know my name?!" He growled.
"I heard another wolf say it." Snowfire looked at another wolf group talking. Skratch nodded. I just dodged a bone! Thank Lupus for my powers.
"So how come the Eclipolf is a curse to a pack? Since i've never been in a pack, I don't know why." Snowfire stated.
"They're a curse because of their mystic powers. That shows weakness in a pack, knowing that they have an out of control freak." Death explained.
I AM NO FREAK!! Snowfire almost yelled out loud. Instead she simply nodded.
"So are you on the side of the Snowfires or Alyla's army?" Snowfire asked, feeling uncomfortable asking.
"Neither really. Alpha Stamla Stafaozen doesn't believe in such nonsense. Nor do we."
"But wouldn't the wolves think you're on the opposing team and try to destroy the pack?" Snowfire questioned.
"We would say we are one of them. It will work." Skratch gleamed.
After the conversation with the wolves, Snowfire returned to the den, finding Skar gone.
"Where is Skar?" Snowfire asked Streak, who was half asleep.
"He went hunting...I.. Th..-Think.. Oh i'm tired!" Streak yawned. Snowfire decided to take a little nap also.
