Ch. 3: How the *Bleep* Do We Get That!

3rd Person POV:

Everyone is sitting in the library, either in a chair or on the floor like Kevin, Garth and Stuart. They all have a book of some kind in front of them except Charlie, Destiny, and Sam who have computers instead. They have been looking for a clue on what could stop the Darkness for a while now and still have no idea what could stop it. "Damn it" We here from Charlie whose computer is freaking out. Dean is the only one not working on the Darkness issue, mainly because he is fixing food or out for beer runs. But sometimes it's because he can't stop looking at Castiel. "Okay that is it. I need a break." Destiny says closing her computer and stretching her arms above her head. "Let's do something. Train, watch a movie, or eat out. We all need to get out of here, let's stop for a few hours plus I am sure we all need sleep too." She says that last part yawning a little. Everyone nods, even Stuart who seems to really enjoy all of this. Each of them stand and make their way to their separate rooms, they decided to go out and eat. Destiny walks to her room and is stopped by an arm on her shoulder. "Huh?" She says being pulled to a halt. "Hey, sorry didn't mean to startle you I just, we need to talk." Her brother blurts out. "Yeah sure, what is it bro?" She says, she wasn't that startled but she had to get used to his touch again. It had been a few years since they actually seen eachother since he left for school. "Well you know that umm Garth guy? I think well, I think he is cute and I wanna talk to him but. You know?" He stumbled over his words. SHe laughed a little and smiled at her little brother. "Well Stu, what I can tell you is just talk to him. Be nice to him, tell him about yourself. Maybe even go to a movie or something. I don't know just be yourself." He nodded his head, hugged her and walked away to his room which was next to Megs.

For dinner they wanted to go to the diner, since it was cheapest and had plenty of room for everyone. They walked into the room and seen it was kinda empty which was weird. Walking toward one of the bigger tables they sat down first Dean at one end next to him Castiel and Destiny on each side. Next to Castiel was Meg then Samandriel. Next to Destiny was Charlie then Stuart and Garth next to him. Henry is on the end across from Dean. The waitress comes up to take their orders most of them get burger and fries- Dean, Cas, Destiny, Henry, Meg, Charlie, and Garth. The others get variations of salads- Stuart, Samandriel, and Sam. They eat and talk, about nothing in particular a few past cases and such. While Sam and Stuart talk about college and law school. Henry begins to talk about the past and everyone seems really interested except Samandriel who is too busy eating to really listen. After they finish their food they leave and pile into the vehicles. Heading home with Dean, Cas, Destiny, and Sam in the Impala. Dean takes a turn that none of them recognize as the route home.

He picks up his phone and dials a number. "Hey Garth, yeah I did that on purpose. Yeah. You guys go home okay, we will be there shortly." Nodding he closes his phone. "Dean, where are we going?" Sam asks from the backseat. "You will see." Is all Dean says in response, grabbing Castiel's hand he gives it a quick kiss and continues driving. Everyone is silent the entire time of the drive, looking at eachother while Dean drives farther and farther from the bunker. Taking one last turn he stops the car and turns off the motor of his baby. Without saying a word he steps out and walks in front of the car, motioning everyone to follow he walks down a small path into the woods. "Dean wait, where are we going." Castiel finally speaks up. "It's time we do something as a family of normal people and not a family of hunters. We are gonna go on normal walk and be normal for a few hours." He says in almost a pleading way, taking Castiel's hand once more.

Walking together was easy, it was the being normal thing that was hardest for Castiel, Sam, and Dean. Destiny was normal for years so she just acted like she would if she was with Stuart and their parents. They talk and laugh for a little while. Every now and then Dean would kiss Castiel's cheek and Destiny would giggle while Sam groans. You could see the change in Destiny's face Castiel definitely did. "Destiny? What is it?" Looking at her face he knew something was wrong. "I just miss them, I know they were not really my parents but, they raised me. Sorta anyways. I just wish we knew what happened." She says finally. The police do not know what happened to them so they ruled it as an accident. "Sorry love, I guess I should apologize for that huh? What can I say, I am evil." A voice says from behind the group who had stopped while destiny was talking.
