Ch. 6: Balthazar and Gabriel

Sam's POV:

Chuck showed up yesterday said he was bringing Balthazar back today. Personally I would rather not have him here, but if he can help us find a Hand of God then I guess we need them. Chuck still isn't able to sense them that is why we need outside help. And research is not going to well. There was one but it was taken down with a ship in 1944 and none of us have a good history with time travel (horrible pun intended). Everyone else is in the tv room while I am in the library. Ever since Gabe showed back up it is a lot harder to focus on anything. That damn trickster/Archangel won't leave my head, he is just so annoying. Then there is the fact that one time he killed Dean hundreds of times by repeating the same day or... ... or the fact that he turned me into a fuck!ng car when we thought he was still a trickster and tried to kill him. Yeah, that's why he is stuck there.

I am on my laptop reading over facts about the Hand of God when I hear a noise behind me. It sounds something like paper of some kind rustling. Then I hear chewing and a sigh, that better not be who I think it is. I turn around and see that my suspicion was correct... Gabe and Balthazar just standing there staring at me. Balthazar has a drink in his had of course and Gabe is shockingly eating candy -a sucker to be exact-. "Hey Samsquatch, whatcha up to?" Gabe says taking the sucker out of his mouth for a second and putting it back after he finished his sentence. I just glare at them with a face Dean calls my signature b!tchface, "Gabriel what are you doing back? I thought Chuck was supposed to come with Balthazar." I say standing up and closing my laptop, turning fully to them I see that Balthazar looks completely bored and maybe a little pissed while Gabe looks at me with the same expression I seen him with when I found him with Destiny.

*Flashback*

"He is an Angel, hi Gabe." I say walking up to Destiny and grabbing her shoulder pulling to me cause she is crying for some reason. How is Gabriel alive? He died, but thank you Chuck he is alive. "What happened Destiny?" I say not paying attention to Gabe who is giving me a look that I don't wanna know what it means. Gabe laughs and nods at Destiny like she said something. He says "Samsquatch, we need to talk about something."I nod and send Destiny inside to talk to Dean about whatever is wrong, I will find out later but Gabe needs to talk and I don't want Destiny to hear whatever it is. She walks away I watch her until she enters the bunker and before Gabe starts speaking she give a weird face to him.

"Anyways, Sammy-" "It's Sam only Dean can call me that." I say before he can continue. He winks at me and continues what he was saying "I know who Chuck is." My expression goes from bored to shocked, how does he know. No is one is supposed too but us. What if it gets out and people try to hurt him why he is still weak. "Calm down Samsquach, he told me soon after I helped that little girl get to the bunker or at least to Kansas." He says realizing why I was shocked. "Okay, is that all?" I say finally calm. "No Sammy... I mean Samsquach... He also told who that little girl is. And I as your friend wanted to make sure you were okay with it. I couldn't come sooner because I was helping Chuck with a few other things." He says finally stopping to take a breath.

"Why wouldn't I be fine? I mean Castiel and Dean have been stuck between friends and something else for so long, I am glad they finally have told each other the truth. They need to be happy." "Maybe, but it really doesn't bother you that Castiel is in a man vessel and Dean is okay with it?" He says I can tell he wants to say more but doesn't. "No of course not, I knew he was into guys at least a few. Ever since we met 'Dr. Sexy' when you put us in the tv world. And I don't think Dean cares what gender Castiel is." I say, it's true too I don't think he cares he really loves Castiel. "So you don't care if two guys are a thing?" Gabriel says, now I am a little suspicious but I answer anyways. "Nope. Anything else Gabe, I really need to check on Destiny?" He just shakes his head about to say something but I hear the flutter of wings and he is gone."
