Cas' POV:

It's about a week after Destiny turned 19 and got her tattoo and me and her are going to have a father/daughter day just me and her. Everyone else is going out for the entire day, even Dean with some persuasion. Destiny has decided she is going to teach me how to bake pies, so I can make some for Dean. Then we are gonna practice her using her grace better, she does a little but she needs to build up her strength for the fight against Amara.

"Dad, can we talk?" Destiny says while she is showing me how to mix all the ingredients together to make the homemade crusts. "Sure, what is it Destiny?" I say not looking from my dough because I am trying to do it just right, but mine doesn't look as even as hers does. Guess I need more practice. "Meg is becoming human." I stop and look up at a very worried face from Destiny. What? I mean this is good because I really don't like the fact she could betray Destiny - I don't think she will, she cares for her it's obvious- but what about if she gets hurt? "I know I was thinking the same thing but I guess once I learn how I can always heal her." Destiny says responding to my inner thoughts. I nod and begin working my dough again. Wait did she read my mind? "Yeah, that was another reason I wanted to talk to you, I can read people's thoughts now." She says smiling a little. "That's great, that means your body is getting used to your grace and the power is growing. If you had been practicing from a young age it would already be fully developed. This will give us something to train with." I say finished with my dough. She nods and we begin the filling then baking.

"Yay! Good job daddy! You did it, you made a homemade pies!" Destiny said as we pulled out the pie I made and the pie she made -making a total of two pecan pies-. I smile at the fact that I can now officially make Dean's favorite food -aside from burgers-, we put the pies on a cooling rack so they will be nice a cooled down while we work on here mind reading skills. "Okay, so we are gonna first work on reading a mind so-" I stop there and think what I was gonna say "try reading mine." I think still looking into her eyes. "You said try reading mine. Did I pass hahaha." She says laughing a little. I nod and think again, "Okay now we are gonna work on finding a blocked thought, a thought that someone doesn't want you to hear. I had to use this on the Winchesters a few times, those boys are so stubborn." I think and she smiles and nods a little, she has known them for a year and she knows this is true. "Okay so I am going to block a thought from you and you have to push through my block and hear what I am thinking. Easy right?" I say touching her arm and giving her a small squeeze. "Okay dad, I think I can do this." She says "I wish I could have raised you myself, I wish me and Dean had been together much sooner, and I wish to ask you how you feel about having a younger sister or brother?" I think this sentence over and over again, I can feel her pushing and all of a sudden it stops. Her whole facial structure changes from very concentrated to shock then to realization, then the expression I wanted... happiness. She nods her head so fast I am worried it will fall off. She gets up and hugs me making me fall over a little but I catch us before we fall to the ground. She screams a little but a happy scream and says yes over and over again. I guess she approves, now just to speak to Chuck about a baby Winchester around the bunker.

We do a few more exercises and I decide we have done enough for today. "Okay Destiny that's good for now. Oh and don't tell anyone what we talked about okay? I need to speak to Chuck first then Dean if Chuck says he will do this for us." She nods and smiles "Hey, dad I have something I wanna show you." She says and she turns away from me and lifts her shirt above her head holding her arms and shirt up, at first I don't know what I am supposed to be looking at but then I see the black. "What is tha-" I stop mid-word because I see the individual feathers. I get closer to inspect it better, it's a pair of black wings. About the size of a hand on each shoulder blade and when she has her hands stretched like that they look like they are being spread to fly. Much like mine but smaller in size of course, I touch one of them and she looks at me and smiles. "I got them for you dad. I remember hearing a story from Dean about the day you guys met, and he said that your wings cast a black shadow on the barn wall and he knew that they would be black, if only he could really see them. And since I am part Angel, I wanted wings like my daddy." She says quickly but quietly, not embarrassed exactly but something I can't put my finger on.
