Their Destiny Season 2

Ch. 5: Meeting Bobby and Guess Who Else is Back.

Destiny's POV:

"Hey, idjit. Do I get a hug or are you just gonna stare at me?" I hear out in the hall from a voice I don't recognize. I ran out to the hall when I heard Dean yell something that I didn't recognize. I see a man who looks kinda gruff with a beard and a blue cap on, he is wearing a plain green shirt and a brown leather jacket and a pair of jeans, and he is hugging Dean. "Dad? Who is this?" I say barely above a whisper, not scared but a little worried. "Dean Winchester. Did this girl just call you dad?" the man says in a slight stern and slight amused voice. Dean grabs the back of his neck with one hand and wraps his other arm around my shoulder. "Umm yeah, Bobby meet Destiny. Destiny meet your Uncle Bobby." He introduces us and I immediately want to hug this man.

I may have never actually met him but the stories I have heard about him, I feel like I already know him. What if he doesn't approve of me though? What if he doesn't like the fact that I am the child of Dean and Castiel. I nervously put my hand out so he can shake it, he looks at my hand almost disapprovingly and I realize yep I am not gonna be accepted by him. Before I realize what is happening I am being hugged by Bobby and he feels like a large teddy bear but with a strong grip on my back, almost like he is worried I will dissapear. After a second I hold on too with the same strength. We release at the same time with the same smile on our faces. "So before we do anything else tell me, who is the lady who gave birth to a gorgeous girl and how she grew up so fast?" Bobby says obviously Chuck didn't mention anything to him.

"Well you see Bobby the year is actually 2027." He stops and looks at Bobby who has a confused face but urges him to continue. "And as far as Destiny's mom she, umm.. Doesn't have one." He says fumbling over his words a little no longer looking Bobby in the eyes. "She is my daughter too." I hear Castiel say behind Bobby in the bedroom doorway, in a voice filled with pride and happiness. I smile a little at that and Dean seems to loosen up a little in Castiel's presence. "What? Dean, what does he mean by that?" Bobby says looking between the three of us. My face is one of fear while Castiel is calm Dean is in the middle of both. Castiel comes beside Dean and puts his hand in Dean's whilst Dean puts his arm around my shoulders. We all smile and Dean says "God made Destiny from part of my soul and Cas' grace, she is truly our kid. And me and Cas are together." He says kissing Castiel on the hand and me on the forehead.

Bobby looks really confused for about two second and finally says "Well it's about damn time you too admitted your feelings for eachother." Bobby states with a large smile on his face. We all laugh after a moment and at that moment Sam walks into the hallway with Garth talking about a possible lead on a hand of God. "Bobby!?" They both say at the same time, as soon as it sinks in they both run to him and hug him at the same time. "Okay boys, get off of me." They let go of him we all walk back to the library laughing and talking at the same time.

We see everyone else sitting around the table reading something or on the internet. They all look up some give a real reaction like Kevin who did meet Bobby once but everyone else just kinda said hi and went back to research. "Sorry, we just have a major problem that we are trying to solve." And so begins the long conversation filling Bobby in with everything we know, even about Chuck being God, since the boys have been back. The whole time Bobby stayed quiet, the occasional look and glare but silent anyways.

After all is said and done Bobby pulls me aside to talk. "Now look don't ever think that I didn't want them two to be together, me and Sam had talked about it before I died. Those boys were meant to be, and you being here just proves it even more. And your existance got them to realize it too." He says as soon as we are out of earshot of everyone else. My heart fills with love, this is the man I was really worried wouldn't accept my parents and here he is saying he knew they were supposed to be together. I hug him again with a tear falling down my cheek "Thank you Uncle Bobby, I love them so much and they love each other. I didn't want to disappoint you, I wanted to be what you would approve of." I say in a fast mumble trying to not cry anymore.
