Chapter 5 ~ The Project

After Adrien and Marinette left, Nino caught up to Alya in the meantime. "Did you see Mari and Adrien?!" He fangirled intensely, Alya placed her arm on Nino's shoulder. "Our kids grew up." She smiled brightly to him, his face splattered with red.

"O-our k-kids?!" He shuttered, she snickered intensely on what he was thinking. She patted on his shoulder and went her own way. Nino's cheeks slightly got normal, he always had a crush on her after Ladybug kept them in an animal exhibit.

While in the car, Marinette and Adrien kept the whole ride silent. They did look at each other occasionally, but turned away when they noticed. "We're near." He finally broke the silence, Marinette looked at him with a nod. Her eyes widen as she saw the Agreste's Mansion, her favourite designer's and crush's house.

"Woah." She looked at him and smiled, his heart fluttered, it's like when he was Chat. He wanted to treat her like he was Chat, but Ladybug would kill him to show his identity to someone.

The car stopped, Adrien opened the door for Marinette. He smirked slightly, while she gave an awkward smile back. She looked around the entrance excitedly, her eyes glistened from everything that amazed her. "C'mon, let's go." He gave a hand movement to direct her where he wanted to go to. She nodded in reply.

He opened the door and led her in, Nathalie was waiting for them. "You can stay for as long as you want, Marinette." Nathalie first said. "I'm just staying here around 3 or more hours." Marinette replied, Adrien was awkwardly smiling from the beginning.

"No, seriously. You can stay for a day or two. It's Friday anyway." Nathalie continued, Marinette and Adrien widen their eyes in surprise. "How about we go do the project?" He asked, both girl and woman, nodded for response. He brought her to his room.

~Adrien's Room~
"Woah! It's like a theme park in here!" She excitedly said, he chuckled to her saying. He went over to his computer, while she followed along. "Do you have the papers?" He asked, she nodded and went through her backpack to find them.

"Found them." She said, he nodded to her response. "So, what do we have to do, pri-, Marinette!" He tried to keep his Identity safe, she gave a questioning look to him and shook her head.

~Time Skip!~
"So, you get it now?" She asked, he replied with a nod and chuckle. "Okay, let's look up some theories." He sat down on his chair, while she sat on the other. He turned on his computer, the background was a picture of his mom. "Woah she's pretty." She looked other to him and smiled, "That's my mother." He got sad for a moment but after looking at Marinette, his heart skipped a beat. Her lips parted, eyes sparkling, cheeks blushing. He wanted to kiss her again.

He shook his head and went to his browser, the thing that he first saw was the LadyBlog. He wanted to 'x' out the browser, but everything he did made it worse. He finally gave up, he looked over to her, she was already looking at him. She smirked and came an inch closer to him, "I didn't know you were a ladybug fan." She continued smirking, he looked red for the first time.

"Okay, you caught me. I'm a huge Ladybug fan." He chuckled slightly, she looked at him happier than she was before. "Ohh, is it more than a 'fan'?" She made the quote sign with her fingers. Adrien's eyes widen, his face got even more red than before.

"I guess that answered my question." She giggled. Suddenly, Adrien had a grin on his face. "Oh, how about Chat Noir?" He asked, Her eyes widened but stopped and raised an eyebrow eventually. "What about him?" She tried to see where he was going.

"What are you to Chat Noir?" He asked, the grin was stuck on his face. Marinette got red, 'Well you see, I've kissed him and now I like him. But I can't say that to you because I like you.' She thought to herself.

He placed him hands on both of the shoulders and tilted his head slightly, "Tell me or else." He had that grin that reminded her about Chat. "Or what?" She stuck her tongue to him.
