As soon as Ashton and I came back inside everyone immediately knew what we had just done, our dumb giddy smiles gave it away. "Well, look who made it back!" Liam yelled across the room. Everyone else began laughing, the embarrassment was apparent on my face. Then, the young blonde girl bumped into me as walked over to the corner to sit. Out of everywhere in the house she could go she chose to sit right in front of me. "Did you come across Luke or Kayla that entire time you were out there?" Her voice was young, alot like mine, so she must be Niall's underaged girlfriend. Great, just another girl I have to watch out for around Ashton. Why couldn't any of the guys have an ugly girlfriend? Or even just a plain one. No they all have to be these naturally gorgeous girls with perfect features, yet none of them are models. Finally I decided to answer her. "Yea, well when we very first got out there we passed them, but I didn't notice them on the way back in. Have they still not come in?" Her large blue eyes flicked up from her phone screen to meet mine."No, they left before you two and they're still not back." We both paused for a moment while sitting next to each other on the floor. My phone battery is on 13%, great. I noticed she had an IPhone, just hopefully she decided to bring her charger. "Did you happen to bring your phone charger with you?" I asked her politely. Her face, and behavior gave the illusion that she is much older than 17. "Yea it's in my bag." I watched as she stretched her arm as far as possible struggling to reach it until Zayn noticed too and gave it a little kick, putting it into her reach. She grabbed her charger from the bag and handed it to me with a smile. "So I'm guessing that you're Nialls girlfriend, Liam told us about." I said as I plugged my phone into the outlet next to me. "Yes, I am. And oh god...what did Liam say about me." She had a bit of an embarrassed laugh as if Liam were her dad and he may have told us some humiliating childhood story of hers. "He just said that Nialls new girlfriend was a minor, and yep..that was it." I confirmed, making the two of us laugh. "He makes me sound like such a child!! I'll be 18 in October." "That's not so bad! I just turned 18 the week before Kayla and I flew over here." "Exactly, I think he just likes teasing me about it."
She gave a fake pouty face at the end of her comment. "So, if you don't mind me asking, how did you and Niall meet? And how is it possible that you're staying over here? Because I can obviously tell you're American by the accent." I lightly laughed, not wanting her to feel uncomfortable. "I don't mind you asking." She returned the awkward laugh and continued. "I'm over here as a foreign exchange student. I live with a family just outside the western part of London. And uh, my new 'dad' I guess, yea he works as one of their bodyguards and I met Niall because I've been backstage with my dad at every show and I see the boys constantly, hanging out with them and whatnot. Eventually Niall just took interest in me and we started hanging out more one on one and now we're dating." "Oh, well then." We both started laughing for no apparent reason. I kind of like her. Better than the other girlfriends anyway. Well besides Kayla. "So how'd you and Ashton meet?" Her smile was friendly and curiosity was genuine. "Ah, Kayla..you know her?" "Yea." "Yea anyway. Well she set us up after she and Luke started dating. They met at a few meet-n-greets and exchanged numbers I guess. And it went from there, eventually she flew over to see them in L.A and took me with her to set me up with Luke's apparently 'cute single friend.' And yea, that was the start of it all." "Hmm, our lives sounds like really good fanfics." Her comment made us both laugh, and I now felt alot less awkward around her knowing that she at least knew what a fanfic was. She and I sat there holding our phones talking about everything. We talked about our lives back in America and our boyfriends. I told her about how Ashton and I have an open relationship to prevent any drama of us ever cheating on each other. "I kind of like that idea, especially since I worry alot about Niall being around so many girls all of the time." She said. "You might as well, I mean the rest of us couples here are anyway, well besides Zayn and Perrie. But I think Kayla's trying her best to open them up too so she can get with Zayn." She gasped at least twice during that entire explanation I just went through. "Well, it seems like a good idea and all but, I just don't want him hooking up with a bunch of randoms that I don't know." As her expression became more doubtful I tried my best to convince her otherwise. I mean come on, I haven't hooked up with anybody besides Ashton in over a month since Liam got a new girlfriend and Niall has been looking pretty promising lately. "Oh, you don't have to worry about that." I confirmed. Her face seemed to change. "We keep it amongst the social circle." I motioned a little figurative circle around the room. "Social circle? Who's in it?" Did she really not catch my hint amongst everyone in the room. "Ashton, Luke, Calum, Michael, Harry, Liam, Louis, and all of the girlfriends." Her facial expression showed that she was slowly easing into this whole swinging idea. Thank god, hopefully she'll change her mind. Honestly I've been wanting Niall for awhile now and this is about to be my chance. "So, how does that sound? Is it too many people?" Hopefully the eagerness isn't too apparent in my voice. "No that's not too many I guess. I'll talk to him about it later. See how he feels about it." Yes! Finally! Now I'll have someone to hook up with while Ash is gone, and he can hook up with others girls without me feeling so uptight about it. Wait a minute..She has to see what he thinks..? Does she not know about Nialls swinging past? "I'm sure he won't mind, I mean he's done it in all of his past relationships." "He has?" She really had no clue about any of this. Which makes me wonder....should I be the one breaking it to her? Or am I just starting drama? Oh shit here comes Niall now. "Weyyy" He playfully yelled as he sat on the floor next to Sydnie. "Hey" I responded. "Ni, why didn't you ever tell me about the 'social circle'?" His brow furrowed at her question. "Social circle?.....Oh right! I haven't a clue. Well I was going to wait until we got a bit into our relationship first. I mean, it's not the first thing I tell a girl once we start dating." His explanation was solid and I think he had her convinced. After a bit of a pause he threw his arm around her shoulder and asked, "Who told you about it anyway?" Oh shit....here we go. "Um, I just heard it being talked about, like amongst the group." Thankfully she's a good liar, or I'd probably in trouble with him right about now. "Oh well, now you know and there's no need for me to explain then is there?" He asked with a smile on his face. "No. But I still wanna know...out of all of the girlfriends who have you...well you know.." "Hooked up with?" He asked bluntly. "Yea." "Erm..first was Morganne, Calums girlfriend, then Juliana, Harry's girlfriend, and then Kayla. That's it." Surprisingly her face had a smile across it and she seemed ok with everything he'd just confessed to. "As long as your honest with me I don't mind this whole 'social circle' thing. Ok?" Both his and my face shared a look of surprise. I think we both thought she would be upset for sure. "Ok babe.." He said in shock before kissing her forehead.
