KAGAMI TAIGA ONE SHOT

Ah, such a naïve guy when it comes to love.

Kagami Taiga, when it comes to basketball and food, is really passionate, but when it comes to love, he's clueless.

A rare guy indeed but it's getting on her nerves!

She learned the ways of basketball when she really had no interest in it, she befriended everyone on the basketball team; even the team's mascot, Nigou in which she learned that he has a fear of dogs but instead of being turned off, it was rather another cute side of him, being a tough guy and all, but he's afraid of dogs. She studied hard especially in English (This guy's really and idiot, he studied in America yet his knowledge in English is just erm, I don't even want to describe it) just so she can have an excuse to teach him.

And he paid those back by his determination to win the Winter Cup and at least score half in the exams but she feels like there's something missing.....

"Kagami-kun! I like you! Please go out with me!" She nervously bowed down her head, a maji double cheeseburger in hand, offering it to him.

"What?! Oh, um, okay" He scratched the back off his neck and took the cheeseburger from her.

A delighted expression came across her face which made him blush but being the idiot that he is, he shrugged off the thought.

"Thank you! Please take care of me!"

They've been going out for four months now but they still haven't made progress with their relationship! Not even a kiss on the cheek, nor holding hands.

She asked him to walk her home, but what is this? He was walking four, five steps ahead of her.

She began to ask herself if he only went out with her because of the cheeseburger back then.

"Kagami-kun"

"Oi, Kagami-kun"

"Kagami Taiga-kun!"

"Ah, what?"

The very expression of his made her piss off.

"You really are an idiot, huh, Kagami" She whispered, not enough for him to hear, because well, he's an idiot.

"Hah?"

"Ah nothing, see you tomorrow Bakagami-kun" She smiled but it did not reach her eyes.

"Eh? Wait!"

Next day

It was the end of the day and she hadn't talked to Kagami at all. She did not even dare to look at him, but it was rather hard for her because,

"H-hey, teach me in our lesson today, please"

She walked back to the classroom and she found a Maji double cheeseburger and a red rose resting on her desk.

She smiled like an idiot, this isn't like him.

"Kagami-kun, you idiot."

"Is that really all you can say to me?"

He appeared out of nowhere and she simply raised her eyebrows while pretending to sniff the rose.

"Uhm, H-hey"

"Yes?"

"Y-you know"

"What?'

"S-sorry."

"For what?"

"eh? Uhm-"

She knows that he was feeling uncomfortable.

She smiled. "It's okay, I understand"

"Ah, there's still something I haven't told you"

"What is it?"

"Uhm- I haven't told you that I was really happy when you confessed to me."

"Really?" Her face lightened, showing a smile of enthusiasm because it was the first time that Kagami acted like this.

"Uhm, I- I like you!"

She can tell that he was nervous, heck his eyes were even closed when he said that.

But those were the words that she was longing for.

EXTRA:

On the way home, their hands were intertwined together.

She asked,

"Kagami-kun, What happened to your eyebrows?"

Yesterday, on the way home from Maji Burger.

"Ah, girls are such pain in the ass."Kagami said lazily as he walked home together with Kuroko after a long day of practice.

"Eh, why? " The light blue haired boy said after sipping from his vanilla milkshake.

"*insert kawaii Japanese name* asked me to walked her home yesterday and then out of nowhere, she just called me an idiot and left me. What kind of girlfriend is that? Even though she's the one who confessed."

"Kagami-kun, may I ask what was on your mind during that time?"

"Eh, erm, our next game against Kaijou"

Kuroko didn't say anything and he suddenly plucked out one of Kagami's split eyebrows.

"OUCH! WHY YOU BASTARD, KUROKO!"

"Any girl would get tired of you if you keep acting like that"

"Eh? Acting like what?"

"She liked you because you're passionate with the things you like and she supports you whole-heartedly, but can't you at least pay her a little for what she does to you? She likes you more than you think."

Kagami didn't know what to say. It seems like Kuroko hit the mark.
