He said with a small smile that made me melt. "I would love to,". It looked like a wave of relief washed over him.
"Okay, you wanna go now?" he asked
"Let's do it," I exclaimed, grabbing his arm and running towards our local park. It's not a lot, really, since our town doesn't have enough money to fund it. But there's not usually anyone there. We didn't stop running until we got there, so it took us about five minutes. We were laughing the whole way, as we saw people's expressions toward us.
I walked over to a swing and sat on it, and Graison sat on the one next to me.
"I love it here," I began.
"How come?" Graison asked looking at me.
"It is so quiet, so peaceful. The crisp, green, grass, the beautiful flowers, and over there," I pointed to a small cliff, "If you sit right on the edge of the cliff, you get the most beautiful view of the ocean you'll ever see. The sun hit's the water just right, and the sunset's are so amazing,"
"You come here a lot, don't you?" Graison asked, also admiring the beautiful scenery.
"Yeah, I've always wanted to have s picnic here, but I have just never got around to it,"
Graison simply nodded his head understandingly.
Graison and I have been talking for hours. Mostly about life, and all the things we want to accomplish someday. He understands everything I'm saying, and he truly listens to me. He's not like the other guys. He wants to settle down and have a family. He just wants to be happy-even if all he has are the ones he loves. He doesn't want all the fancy cars or clothing. He is just like me, I swear. I am falling for this boy more and more every minute I spend with him, but I don't think he feels the same way. And no one will be able to catch me when I fall.
We were in the middle of a stupid conversation about which fruits should be classified as vegetables, when, all of a sudden, we heard a loud crash of thunder. Graison and I looked at each other with a confused expression, since the sun was just out.
"It's okay, at least it is not raini-" Graison began but was soon cut off by rain starting to pour down like Niagara Falls.
"What the hell," he muttered to himself, but loud enough for me to hear.
I got up and grabbed his hand and began running to my house, dragging him along with me.
"Where are we going?" he shouted because of the pounding sound of the rain against the buildings and cars made it loud to hear.
"My house," I shouted back. "It is closer then the cafe or bait shop,"
