eulogy

Authors POV :

years later and Laura was right, raising her two kids better than her mother raised her with her husband Ross in a house down near by the ocean, they moved to California after they got married and stayed there ever since. Things with Laura's parents went downhill and they haven't talk ever since but Ellen died two years ago in a car accident and it did make Laura cry but she didn't grieve, nobody really knows about Damiano.

Ross and Laura got married three years ago, and had their son Luke who is now 2 years old and daughter Sophia who is now 6 years old. Ross went back to pursuing his music business with his siblings, Laura created a clothes line and it's trending like crazy.

they both made it big actually. with no help from Laura's parents! Parker still keeps in touch with the family, he still lives in his apartment back in Miami with his wife who is expecting a baby any day now, they seem like the normal average family.

Ross is the one who changed a lot, as he got older and got married and had the children who call him daddy now, he got a lot more mature and responsible.

And their life has been a hectic ride.

"Baby?" Ross asked walking into the house from being at the studio.

"I'm in our room!" Laura shouted back at him.

"Hey beautiful. How was your dad at work?" Ross asked Laura who was stretched out on the bed with her eyes closed.

"Tiring." she laughed, "Yours?"

"Same." He chuckled, "Where are the kids?"

"Luke is sleeping in his room and Sophia is playing with her toys." She smiled.

"I say we watch a family movie?" He suggested.

"Sounds lovely." Laura smiled.

"Princess!!" Ross shouted, and before you knew it little Sophia came running into the bedroom with her little pyjamas on and her hair in a little ponytail.

"Hi Daddy!" she smiled as he picked her up, "Hey sweetie, Wanna watch a movie with mommy and daddy?"

Sophia nodded and smiled, "With Luke too?"

"Luke is sleeping, but we'll bring him in and see if he wakes up." Laura smiled.

Laura sat on the couch with her sleeping son in her arms and Ross was sitting beside her with Sophia dozing off on his chest.

"Still can't believe our life." Ross sighed.

"It's crazy." Laura smiled.

"But I wouldn't change a thing, you made me two beautiful children, I have a beautiful wife, I have my dream job, I'm living in a mansion!" Ross smiled, "I have a family and I couldn't be happier."

"I love you Ross." Laura smiled.

"I love you too." Ross said back, "So much."

Laura looked down at Luke and kissed his forehead. "I think the movie is over."

"I'll put Sophia to bed." Ross said, Laura kissed Sophia's forehead before Ross carried her to her room and into bed.

Laura got up and carried Luke to his bed too.

then the both exhausted parents landed in bed, "My mom wants us over for lunch for tomorrow."

"Oh okay, that sounds like a plan then!" Laura smiled. Ross smiled too and made his way to her lips and gently started kissing her.

Laura kissed back but she was tired, Ross removed himself and Laura explained that she was tired and Ross was too. They decided to have showers and then go to bed.

"Grandma!!" Sophia yelled as she entered her grandparents house and ran straight into the kitchen.

Ross chucked as he brought Luke in his arms. Laura carrying his bag. "Hello guys!" Stormie said smiling, and she came up to Ross and hugged him lightly, doing the same to me.

"Oh my, look at this baby boy." She smiled taking Luke out of Ross' hands. Mark then came up to his with Sophia in his hands. "Hey guys!"

we all exchanged our hello's and hugs and Stormie told us all to go to the backyard on the deck.

there was a table set up with food and drinks and Rydel and Ellington were sitting there holding their kinda new born, Samantha.

Sophia loved Rydel so she handed Samantha to Ellington while Sophia hugged Rydel!

"Look at how big you are now Sophia!" Rydel smiled, "You're just getting prettier and prettier as the days goes on!" Rydel chuckled and poked Sophia's nose, Sophia smiled and started speaking "Daddy is teaching me how to play piano to be just like you!"

"Really? that's awesome! I can help you one day!" Rydel smiled.

"Ya!" Sophia said very happily.

once Riker arrived with Vanessa, They're son Troy also came and Sophia and Troy were like best friends, Troy was 7 years old though. And Rocky and his wife came, she's pregnant and should be due sometime next week. Stormie set up a smaller table for Sophia and Troy to eat at closer to the playground in their back ground. Stormie made them chicken sandwiches and french fries and grapes. While the adults sat at the big table and Luke fell asleep in the shade in his carrier.

"Crazy how life changed so much." Ross said as he put more salad onto his plate.

"I know, I mean, my babies have their own babies now. Everyone's getting older! I just hope we all stay close still, because I love you guys so much!" Stormie smiled.

"We love you too." Everyone said in sync.

"Okay, let's toast!" Rydel smiled.

"To good health, and to watch over us,  to protect us, and for many more good years to come!" We all clinked glasses and drank, then as stormie always said "Dig in!"

And that's basically how our life continued to be.. :)
