The girl ran after the boy "Toby, wait. Toby!" The girl screamed. "You looked me in the eye and then you deliberately went behind my back-" he began before she interrupted. "So did you! How else would you've known that the knife was gone? You went back too!" She defensively said. "Because I wanted to do the right thing." The boy shot back. "If you thought that, then you would've picked it up the first time! You know, you keep on talking about the right thing as if we've no idea what it is! But it this case we needed to protect ourselves and that meant getting rid of it, okay?" "Spencer..." the boy began but the girl kept on talking "So it's done, it's destroyed." She added "Spencer, I can't-" the boy tried again but the girl interrupted again "Caleb and I we got it-" This time the boy grabbed her arm and screamed: "I can't. Listen to this! Don't you understand you're making it worse? There are thing that I can't know about, things that you can't say out loud!" The boy shoved the arm roughly back. The girl's eyes found the ground, "You told me once that I could tell you anything." She said and she looked him in the eye with watery eyes. "I've gotta go." He said and left. The girl watched him strode away with tears falling down her cheeks.

I woke up by an alarming scream of Joshua, I wanted to get out as I froze because I remembered the dream, the nightmare. I never dreamt of fighting with Toby, I couldn't even imagine it before tonight. Apparently Toby hasn't told me everything from our past. I felt betrayed. I got up to collect Joshua from his bedstead. he stretched his chubby toddler arms out to me when he saw me. "Momma!'" he cried for me. I lifted him out his bedstead carefully not to hurt the baby. "What's wrong Joshy?" I asked. "I had bad dreams." he cried rubbing his eyes. "Yeah you're not the only one." I muttered under my breath. "Wass?" he asked. "Nothing." I said pulling him closer. I sat down on a old wooden rocking chair in the corner of the room. 3 am. I rocked with Josh sitting on my lap in the beautiful rocking chair until I fell asleep.

Toby's POV

When I woke up the other side of the bed was empty. 4:33 am. I went to search Spencer, she was probably in Josh's room but I wanted to make sure she was. She could have had flashback's that scared her... As I walked in I saw the cutest thing I could imagine. Spencer was fast asleep in my rocking chair with Joshua cradled against her. Than something sad hit me. Maybe she'll never remember the meaning of the rocking chair. She might never remember the story behind the rocking chair. But if she did maybe she would remember other things, things I'm not ready to tell her... My face turned into a sad frown when she woke. "Hey." I said faking a smile. "Hi." she replied coldly. "Something wrong?" I asked. "No." she replied short but less cold. "I'm just tired." She added. "Then get back to bed, give Josh to me." I offered "Thanks." She handed me Josh and I pressed my lips against her forehead. "Goodnight babe, sweet dreams." I said with a sweet voice. "Yeah." Another short reply. Something was wrong.

Spencer's POV

"Yeah." I replied. I shrugged past him. I stopped in the and leaned against the doorpost to catch my breath. I don't know what I'm making such a fuss about it was just a fight. One fight. He could have forgotten. I decided I should drop it and not long after it I fell back asleep.

"I don't know Toby! I honestly don't know! All I know is that I can't do this! I'm only 19!" The girl shouted aggressively. "Well what do you want me to do about it? You sound like you think this is only a bad thing." The boy said trying to calm her down. "It is Toby! I just started college! this'll ruin my future! We're not even married!" She screamed over panicked. "Spence, calm down. Please. Isn't this what we were planning for? Not now, but later?" The boy tried. "You're right, not now." The girl said in a voice as cold as stone.

I woke up with a feeling even more terrible than the feeling after the other nightmare. I was right, Toby indeed didn't tell me everything from our past, but this wasn't just a fight and there's no way he forgot this. I wasn't just mad, I was furious.
