Chapter 12

"Faster, Longer, Stronger!" I spoke to myself as I pushed my legs faster. Damn it Mason why didn't we go out somewhere closer to my house. 

"Winter! Hurry!" 

"I'm coming hold on!" I linked back to Matt.

I knew Mason was going to be upset about me not telling him I was a shifter. I just hope he wouldn't reject me. I really liked him. Concentrating on the woods floor I saw familiar territory come into place. Shifting into wolf I leaped over the properties fence and joined in the battle 

MASONS POV

I can’t believe she lied to me. Why didn’t she tell me? We’re mates she’s supposed to trust me and tell me everything. Getting in the car I started to drive back to her house. She blew me off! She didn’t even tell me why she was leaving. Did she hate me? Did I say something? What if she’s hurt? Geez women are confusing.

“Mason We’re being attacked get back here now!”

So maybe there was a reason that she ran. Flooring the gas on the car I began speeding back to the house.

WINTER

Jumping onto the first rouges back I easily pinned him down. I bit down onto his shoulder and pulled a large piece of flesh off. I guess I coulnd’t really call him a rouge since I was too.

“What do you want!” I growled at him

“I just want my sister” The wolf spat

Slowly getting off him I saw all the other fighting had stopped.

“Sam, Jas, Nat” I called “Put these animals in the cells”

I watched as they took the trespassers away. Running up to my room I began to get in the shower. Stepping into the water I felt pain on my leg.

“Dang thing bit me” I muttered washing the wound.
