Chapter 5

So it's a bit short but ill update again this week so don't worry. I hope y'all like it.

"Yes us as in my sister Jade, the twins Cole and John, my mate Emily, and I." Sam said like it was no big deal,

"Matt!!!" I yelled through out the house.

"Yes Wint, oh hey Sam!" Matt said cooly

"Hey bro"

I watched as they highfived each other taking in calming breaths.

"Well Matt it seems as if you forget to tell me that we would be expanding our pack."

"Oh did I? Sorry Winter." He said looking a bit guilty

I sighed before looking up at Sam. "Where's the rest of y'all?" I asked

"Hey everyone she's accepting us!!" Sam yelled grinning from ear to ear

I watched as the new pack members came out of a couple bushes in the area. Emily, Sam's mate was maybe two years younger than me, she had big brown eyes and long brown hair that was currently pulled up. She was really pretty actually. Totally not the average Jane.

Next came Jade who had a darker complexion than the others. She looked around Nates age. So around 9-10 I would guess. She had long black hair that was in need of a good wash. Her eyes were beautiful though. They were a stunning green that made you gasp.

Finally the twins. Though twins they didn't look alike. Cole was a blonde with blue eyes while John had light brown hair and green eyes.

They all looked tired, bruised, and needy so of course I let them in. Sam was grinning the entire time obviously happy that I accepted him and his friends.

"Natalie, Nate, Snow you can come out now it's safe!" I yelled

Snow instantly came out of no where and jumped onto my back.

"Wint who are these people, why do they look icky and tired, they need a bath, can we keep them?" Snow rushed out

"Ok Snow I will answer those great questions once Natalie gets down here. "

"Aww what about me?" Nate pouted coming down the stairs.

"Nate I don't think you want to start a bath and let Jade and Emily borrow your clothes now do you?" I teased

"Well...." He started

Jade and Emily both were blushing at Nates immaturity.

"Yes Winter?" Natalie asked on my side of the stairs.

"Can you please show these to girls to the bathroom and bring them some clothes?" I asked

"Of course Wint!" Natalie beamed

Natalie grabbed both the girls hands and rushed them upstairs.

"Matt, Nate, go play with the twins" I said

They nodded and took off with the twins behind them.

"Sam make yourself at home" I said gesturing to the couch.

Sam and I both sat down only to be shocked by Snow.

"Where do babies come from?" Snow asked popping out if thin air

I looked at her with my mouth open in shock.

"Um Snow go see if Natalie needs help" I said shoeing her away. She looked upset but ran up the stairs.

"So Sam since you and your friends are moving in I suggest we expand this house. We currently have 6 bedrooms. Mine, Nates and Matts, Natalie's, Snows, and two guest rooms. You and Emily will obviously get a room to share which leaves us with one room to spare.

"I agree Alpha, i suggest that that room go to the twins and Jade can share with either Snow or Natalie.

I laughed when he called me Alpha. "Well Sam if I'm Alpha then your my Beta"

Sam snapped his head up and looked right at me. "Why me? I mean I'm honored but we just met"

"We'll let's see, your the only one old enough, trained enough, and you already respect me."

"Then I accept my new position as Beta!" He was practically jumping up and down.

"Ok so do y'all have any luggage?" I asked standing up.

"Just a bit ill go get it." Sam said heading towards the door.

"You can pick a room then and unpack" I told him

"Thank you so much Winter"

"Anytime!" I responded cheerfully.

I watched Sam walk out the door and shift going to collect luggage. I left the door cracked so when he returned he wouldn't have to shift back to open the door.

"Um winter?"

I turned my head to see Emily wrapped up in a towel.

"What's up?" I asked

"Where's Sam? He has my clothes," she blushed

"He went to get it. In the meantime you can borrow some of mine" I said walking into my room.

I opened my closet and I handed her a new pair of underwear and a bra.

"Pick whatever you want" I said closing my door so she could change.

I walked into the kitchen to see Jade and Snow chasing each other.

"I'm gonna getcha!" Snow laughed running around the table.

"You have to catch me first" Jade teased

I watched them play for a while before remembering the sleeping arrangements.

"Jade until we expand this house you get to pick who you want to room with. Snow or Natalie."

Snow jumped up and down chanting pick me pick me over and over.

"Hmm I pick Snow!"

"Yay!! Come on Jade ill show you to my room!" Snow said grabbing her hands

I walked into the kitchen and sat down at the table putting my hands over my face. This was tougher than I thought it would be. Maybe I wasn't ready to be an Alpha yet.
