Ugh I groaned rolling over in my bed. Can I not wake up peacefully ever? I just want to sleep. Standing up I walked over to my closet and threw a jacket on.
Taking a step on my bad leg pain immediately shocked me.
"Damn Rouge."
Looking at my leg I saw it was healing but it was still going to take some time. After putting my jacket and limped to the door only to be greeted by a sleeping body outside my door.
"Mason" I muttered lightly kicking him
"Mhm"
"Get up it's morning"
"Nu uh" he pouted
Sighing I stepped over him and began to hobble down the stairs.

"Thank God!" I yelled when I made it to the last step.
"Hi winter by winter!" Cole ran by followed by a flustered Matt
"Morning wint!" he made out
Slowly walking around the corner to the kitchen I opened the cabinet and started to make some formula for Hadley. Even though Emily and Sam watched her I still wanted to play a roll in her life.
"Oh hey winter. Thanks for that!" Emily walked Into the kitchen and took the bottle
"Any time" I muttered quietly
Watching her disappear I couldn't help but think that that was what I wanted. A mate, pups, family. I just hoped me and Mason could make things work. I mean I think he loved me. I hope he loves me. I know he said it but words can be lies.
Maybe this wasn't a good idea.
