Chapter 3

MASONS POV

It's been 3 days, and still no sign of her. Not one. No scent trail, nothing. Jace and I have visited 5 packs and she's not at anyone of them. I'm starting to wonder if she's out there.

"She has to be" my wolf whispered

I smiled and shut down our link

WINTERS POV

After the kids and I ate we were exhausted. We walked back to the car like zombies. I started to drive home and realized that they were all asleep. I smiled as I pulled into an AT&T I ran in quickly and bought new Iphones. One for Nate, Natalie, and Matt. I set them up and continued to drive.

I soon got a text Rooms are Done Hope you like xoxo, Dan
 


Dan would do anything for money. I told him to do the kids rooms while we were out. I gave him a credit card and he finished up the rooms. I finished the entire house except the bedrooms.

"Damnit!" I yelled pulling the wheel sharply to Wal-Mart.

"What's going on Wint" Natalie asked sleepily

"I have to run in and get Hadley some formula, go back to sleep"

"Mhhmm" Was all she said drifting back to sleep.

I parked the car, locked it and went in to grab some baby formula and a car seat.

MASONS POV

Jace and I went into the nearest Wal-Mart after look for our mates in SandNight Pack. She wasn't there.

"Mason I'm starving" Jace whined

I laughed and threw some food into the cart. We would stay at a hotel until we checked the next territory.

"I'm gonna go grab a jacket" I yelled at Jace He nodded as I walked to the clothes aisle.

Women's clothes, teen clothes, baby clothes... Then it hit me. The best smell in the world. I smelt Lavender and Roses with a hint of ...Blood?... Why did my mate smell like blood? And most importantly where was she?!

WINTERS POV

I walked over to the baby section and started comparing baby formulas. I opened up a box cutting my finger.

"Shit" I mumbled I licked off the blood and smelt the best scent in the world.

It smelt of Coffee and woods.

"Mate" My creatures mumbled

I threw the formula in the cart grabbed a car seat and started to run. I found an empty cash register paid and ran off as quickly as I could. I could tell that my mate was from my old pack. He reeked of it. I ran outside and found the car. I threw the cart in the middle of the parking lot, got in the car and started to drive.

MASONS POV

"Where is she" My wolf howled I smelled her getting farther away quickly.

She was running from me! Why though? I ran after her and by the time I caught up she was already in her car leaving.  My wolf cried as she ran off.

"I will find you" I whispered

"Mason!" Jace ran into me and hugged me,

"I thought Rouges took you" he whispered

Jace way 2 years younger than me so I understood the he must be scared.

"I smelt my mate we both whispered at the same time"

"You did?" I asked

"Her scent was on another scent. Like my mate hugged another girl and that girl was there.

"What did the girl smell like." I asked

"Lavender and Roses" My mate smelt of Honey and chocolate though.

My jaw dropped. Our mates had been together all along.

WINTERS POV I drove to the house and parked quickly. I kept quiet so the kids wouldn't wake. I hopped out of the car and shifted. My bones cracked as I shifted into a large cat. Lets just say Ultra large. I picked up the kids in my mouth like a mother cat holds her kittens and the automatic door opened. I went into Natalie's room first. It was perfect for her. A huge bed. Floral pattern bedding, dressers, lamps, etc. I laid her on the bed put her under the blankets and put her new IPhone on a new Ihome. Next I went to Nates and Matts room. It was sweet. It had skateboards and high tech computers everywhere. It was a dream room. I put them in the two separate beds and did the same with there IPhones. Finally Snow's room. It was literally perfection. Stuffed animals galore. Tv, books, and a big girl bed just for her. I laid her down, and shifted back. After all that I carried Hadley to my room and put her in a cradle I had Dan put in. She was probably hungry but if I woke her up she probably wouldn't go back to sleep. I kissed her forehead and got into bed myself I Sent a quick text to Dan thanking him for completing the rooms and I slowly drifted off to sleep. Hope You all Like!
