Never Thought (Transformers prime smokescreen)

"What?!" Everyone shouted. Laura's bones were turning metal?!?!?!

"How can that be?" Smokescreen asked. Laura thought. Then it clicked.

"A few months ago I had found a bottle full of blue liquid in your lab ratchet. I had accidentally dropped it breaking it open. I swept down to pick it up and......well I cut myself. The liquid on the glass must have got into the cut on my arm!!" She said. She then looked confused. "How did I know that?" She asked to no one in particular.

"That just so happened to be energon." Ratchet stated looking frustrated. "And WHY were you in my lab?!?!?!" He yelled.

She shrugged. "I don't know. I was bored." She stated. "Besides you should keep that place locked up if you don't want humans wandering around in there." She smirked.

Ratchet frowned. "Hmmmm we'll I wander why I've never thought of that? Oh yea maybe because i'd never thought i would have to because I never thought we were going to have any humans running around here!!" He vented.

Laura looked annoyed and rolled her eyes. "Chill ratchet." She demanded. "I was joking around with you."

"Haven't been here in a while." Smokescreen said as he walked in Laura's house. Ace filed in behind Laura. Ace walked over and rummaged through the fridge. He grabbed a piece of pizza and walked up stairs. "I'm going to bed love ya Laur." Ace said using the nickname he had given Laura.

"Night ace." She replied. Smokescreen then said. "So he just makes himself at home huh?"

"Well he's my guardian and he likes it better when he's close to me." She said straightening up the living room.

"What happened in here." Smokescreen asked

"Umm.." She thought back.

*Flashback*
Laura was sitting on the couch watching tv.

"Hey Laura!" Ace called

"What." She said bored. She turned to look at him. She was then hit with a pillow. She glared.

"What you scared?" He challenged raising an eyebrow. He was then knocked over by a brutal pillow hit.
She laughed.*
End of flashback*

She said "pillow fight." She wandered into the kitchen. "I'm assuming Ace wasn't very tidy when he was on Cybatron." She said giggling. Smokescreen didn't laugh. She turned to look at him. Her smile drooped when she saw he was spaced out looking beyond her and into the sky.

  "You miss it don't you." She asked. He didn't answer. She sighed. She wanted so badly to touch him again but she didn't know how he would feel about that. She was walking away when a hand reached out and grabbed hers. She was then pulled to smokescreens chest.

  "Laura you may not believe me when I say I love you but primus knows I do. Laura I want you...so bad. I need you and everyday I'm without you I am in pain." He begged.

"Pain can last days. It can last weeks or even years but if you give up,it can last you the rest of your life. Your pain won't go on any longer smokey, I love you too." She kissed him and he kissed back with just as much passion and love. Smokescreens spark yearned for Laura. He wanted so badly to grasp her heart but it was impossible. He would just be happy with having Laura.

He loved her..
