Turning werewolf

Chapter 4

I put my hair into a messy bun. Then I thought why am I even dressing up when I don't even know where we are going to.. We may go to a restaurant of even a party!
I undid my messy bun and let my hair fall down my back. I had long brown hair that went almost till my butt.. Only a couple more inches and it would be right at my butt. I hear honking coming from outside and run to the door. I was wearing skinny jeans and a long sleeve t-shirt. I open the door and see a mustang standing outside my door with Jason in it. My jaw drops. He smiles. He gets out and walks toward me.
"You look hot." He said in a husky voice.
I smile at him.

I get out of the car and see where we are. Yep.. We were at a party.. Just as I guessed. There was toilet paper in the trees and posters on the house we were at. Jason grabs my hand and we walk in together. The door opens and a person greets us. I looked around the wild crowd and Noticed a familiar face. Oh crap.. Is that who I think it is.. I quickly hide behind Jason. He smirks
"You shy..?" He asked.
"No.. It's just that.."
"That what?"
"My ex boyfriend is here.." I said in a low tone.
"Ahh.. Don't worry babe, I'll protect you." I said and turned around. Next thing I know I'm getting lifted off the ground
I quickly grab his neck
"What are you-"
"Shh.. You'll see." He whispered.
I burry my face in his shirt. The sweet smell of his sent fills my nose.
He chuckles by the feeling of my breathing on him.
He puts me down. I sit and notice I'm on the couch in the middle of the crowd.
My ex boyfriend.. Ryder.. Walks toward us.
"Hey, pretender I'm saying something to you and you quickly get up as I do.." Jason whispers in my ear.
I nod. He moves his lips silently. I nod and get up as he does.
I follow him toward the kitchen.

I feel eyes on me.. Ryder's eyes..
I stop at the sink and Jason pours me a drink. I smile and take it. Then I feel a tap on my shoulder. Jason tenses up.. I didn't want to turn around. Jason steps behind me.
"Ryder.." He said in a low tone
"Jason." Ryder says.
"Can I speak to my girlfriend." He asked
I turn around
"Ex-girlfriend.. If you haven't forgotten." I remind him.
He nods
"Can I speak to you.. Privately.."
I look at Jason, he gives me a look of don't go with him. I look at at Ryder..
"Whatever you have to say. Say it in front of Jason and me.
Ryder grabs my arm roughly and whispers in my ear.. I couldn't hear it because right when he grabbed my arm, Jason ribbed him off of me.
"Stay the fuck away from her." Jason says
Wow.. He's mad.. Which I've never seen before..
Ryder chuckles and backs away with his hands in the air. I let out a sigh of relief.
Jason turns around and looks at me. "You ok?" He asked
I bit my lip and nodded shyly. I looked down at the floor, noticing there was something there. I reached to pick it up but then Jason yanked me up to face him.
"Hey.. Don't be scared baby. I don't bite.. At least not yet." He said in a smile.
Yep.. I wonder what's gonna happen tonight.. Oh right! Absolutely nothing! So stay back!
I nodded..
"Is something wrong?" He asked me..
I shook my head. "No, nothing's wrong." I told him
He nodded and looked at the drinks on the counter.
"Want a beer?" He asks
I look at the beer cans then back at him. I noticed I must have put my cup somewhere but oh well.
"Sure." I told him. He grabbed one for me and one for him. I took it and opened it. Once I took a sip I instantly spit it out. It tasted so old.. I looked at the beer name.

Sick.. I hated this beer! Why did I even take it.
Jason gave me a question look.
"Don't like it?"
"Nope" I said make the P pop
I put the drink down and went for water. I got my water and walked back to Jason's side. He wrapped his arm around me for protection. We walked out to the living room then outside. As we stepped on the porch he asked me
"Wanna go for a walk? It's a pretty nice walk. Hell I even got some more beers in my pocket." I laughed at him and nodded in reply.
We started walking on the sidewalk until we hit the gravel road. I looked around and saw a pasture. I smiled as the moon shined over the hill tops. It was a pretty night.
Jason looked at me. Then he stopped. "What did Ryder say to you.." He said, his voice was tense and angry. I bit my lip. I didn't know what he said to me. Right when he was about to.. Jason grabbed him.
"I-I don't know.. I couldn't tell because you grabbed him off of me right when he was about to say something." I said looking away.
I can't believe this.. Why in the hell am I being shy?
He sighed "oh ok. Well maybe we should head back its-" he looks at is watch "1:45." We started walking back until we came to the party again. He opened his car door for me and then jogged around the other side.
He got in and looked at me. "Harper, did I ever tell you how hot you look tonight?" He said in a husky voice.
I giggled "once or twice. Why?"
"Eh, just wandering." He started the car and we ended up driving home.
