Chapter 5

I woke up with chips and gummy worms all over my bed. Lilly was sleeping on my shoulder. I tried to move and not waking her up. I silently pushed her head off my shoulder and got up. She groaned when her head hit the mattress. I went to the bathroom to wash my face and brush my teeth. I grabbed a towel and wiped the water off my face. I opened the door again and walked out to the bed. I brushed off the chips and gummy worms on the bed. I looked at my phone and saw messages from Hunter. I had ignored him ever since he kissed me..
I opened the messages

Hunter: Harper, talk to me, I'm sorry, I was a dick to kiss you. I'm sorry

Hunter: Harper, please answer me

Hunter: I saw you at the party with Jason.. Lilly told me you where there. I saw you two walk outside then get into his car.

I gasped at the message.. I didn't know what to say. I didn't even see Hunter there.

"Still trying to figure out what to say?" Lilly asked me..

I looked up from my seat. "Yea.." I breathed.

She walked over to me, grabbing my phone. "Harper Dix. Do you see these dressed waiting for you?! They're screaming your name just like I have been." She told me

I sighed and got up.

"It's a little too early to look for a prom dress, Lil." I told her walking over to the dresses.

"I know.. But it's best we get the nice ones now than later when they're all gone." She said picking out a pink one.
It was short and fluffy. It had lace on the hem and laced straps.

"Oh. My. Gosh. Look at this dress! I'm gonna go try it on!" She squealed and ran to the dressing room.
Well I was alone now.. Yep.. Alone at last. A sigh of relief left my lips. I heard the door open to the store. I looked over and saw Mr. A.
What was he doing here?
He saw me and smirked. That was probably the most sexiest smirk I've ever seen. What am I doing.. I'm starting to think like Lilly.
I smiled back at him and turned back to looking at dresses.

"How does this look?" I heard Lilly say. I look up and saw the pink dress on her. I smiled.

"Gorgeous." I said

She let out a sigh of relief and smiled brightly.
The door opened again to the store and I saw Jason. He stormed over to me.

He grabbed my hand and yanked me with him. "Jason- w-what are you doing?" I said.

"No questions. You're coming with me." He growled. I didn't know what to say.

I looked back and saw Lilly still had my phone. She threw it towards me and I luckily caught it with one hand. The door swung open and I was lifted up in bridal style. What the hell.
I heard another door open and saw it was Jason's car. He put me in his car carefully. Then he jogged to the drivers side.

"What the hell was that about?" I asked

"No questions." He said

"Well aren't you jolly." I said and crossed my arms, looking outside.
